  1. Would you really put Jamal in the Ring of Honor?
  2. We don't play the game dc, so I don't care either way. Belichick wins, so while we trash him for being an asshole, I would not care if I were a Pats fan. It is just the double sided mirror of being a fan to trash other players/coaches while not your own. All I am concerned about is my team winning and that the best product is out there on the field, I don't care if my team's players shake hands after the game. Like it matters, the Ravens are already the Raiders of the East in the eyes of the league and the rest of the fans. In the eyes of the league and opposing fans, Marshall not shaking hands is not nearly as bad as Harbaugh and Mason cursing out the refs on the sideline, or our players constantly criticizing the refs for our loses. We are already seen as a bunch of sore losers, so Marshall would fit right in, IMO. Marshall not shaking hands with a no-name corner in Foxworth doesn't make headlines, whereas Derrick Mason, Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, and Terrell Suggs constantly blaming the refs for loses does (and these guys, adding in Cmac and Scott for good measure, have done it their whole tenure in Baltimore). You tell me what tarnishes a team's reputation more.
  3. By the way, I would not read much into what you saw dc, on the NFL Network it showed Foxworth and Marshall warming up on the field together before the game. They are apparently good friends. Marshall probably saw a good ribbing coming. Since when has it been a bad thing to be competitive? Marshall just wants to win, those are types of players I'll take on my team, even if they don't shake someone's hand after the game. I think everyone is blowing this up.
  4. Were we watching the same guy? Ellerbe has plus speed for his position (runs in the 4.6 range) and was all over the field making plays. Most importantly, he was actually filling and taking on guards and fullbacks, something Gooden and McClain do not do. The New England game was Ellerbe's best game. Read your own post: "If ray werent next to him he'd be a huge liability." Well, Gooden and McClain play next to Ray and ARE huge liabilities. You can't play the if game. Are you sure you were not confusing him with Gooden? Who has been horrible this season.
  5. I am in agreement with 52isUnstoppable. Look what the Bengals were able to do to us a few weeks ago, played over the top making us dink and dump the whole game. Basically, it was the AFC Championship all over again. If we are able to have offensive success against the Steelers this season, I might change my opinion, but we still need that big, deep threat. Whether it be Marshall or Vincent Jackson (who is also a free agent at the end of the year pending the CBA situation).
  6. I don't think Champ was the corner on the TD either. We were pretty much picking on Goodman the whole day. I loved the play of the rookies Ellerbe and Webb today! Ellerbe saw the majority of the time at ILB next to Ray, and he stepped up! I think we have our new Bart Scott. Webb, he is just a playmaker that is not scared to get his hands dirty in the run game.
  7. You are right, solid win against the Bears, not taking anthing away from that. The Bengals nearly blew the Packers game just like the Vikings nearly blew the game against us, so yes, that was a close game. All I am saying is that when you live and die by close games, you are going to end up losing as many as you win. In other words, the Bengals are hardly in another tier than the Ravens, both teams have been competitive in every game.
  8. I agree, I think Brandon Marshall is going to make Ozzie feel really sorry that he did not trade for him. Although, I do not think it would take a miracle to win. We certainly have the offense to win a shootout against the Broncos. We have lost two shootouts against the Pats and Vikings, we are bound to win one sooner or later. Just because our defense is struggling does not mean we cannot win, the offense is certainly capable of winning a game for us. I'll take our chances down by less than a touchdown less than two minutes left with the ball in Flacco's hands.
  9. Oh, I think the chances of LA getting a team are a lot higher than London. All it would take is a new owner to buy one of the Jags, Rams, Chargers, Niners, or Bills, and move them there. The stadium will be built, so there would not be much of a hurdle.
  10. You just lost to the Texans last week. The Bengals, IMO, are just as inconsistent as us. Yes, you beat us, but it took a last minute drive and that was our worst performance of the season. Look at the Bengals wins, they have all been last second wins, as have our loses. What this tells me is that there is a lot of season still to be played. If we are going to be in every game, I like our chances.
  11. Like I said, if the Pats ever played the Steelers in the AFC Championship game the QBs would be two hand touch. The game would have to end in a tie instantly declaring both teams Super Bowl champions.
  12. If the Pats played the Steelers in the AFC Championship game the NFL would make the game two hand touch.
  13. I like said, Peterson is a bull.
  14. The crew is great if you are a Steelers fan.
  15. I cannot do anything to my signature. I keep getting this error message when I erase my signature:
  16. That official got ran over. Hey, don't make that tripping call maybe you don't get hit. No, just kidding. Never want to see anyone hurt. But the Steelers really should have retaliated against the Vikings for the cheap blow on their teammate in black and white stripes.
  17. The Steelers can thank the refs for that TD. That tripping call was BS!!!!
  18. Peterson is a bull, there is really no other way to describe him. He ALWAYS falls forward. That is impressive for any runningback, but for a guy as tall as Peterson is very impressive.
  19. The refs cannot play games like that! Harrison was hardly held into the QB. Being held into the QB is no different than being pushed into the QB, either qay the QB is unprotected and it is the QB's own lineman that is throwing the defender into the QB. The league really needs to clear up this personal foul crap. By the way, Sidney Rice is a really good receiver, why can't we find a receiver like him in the mid-rounds?
  20. That was a perfect pass by Favre, Harvin definitely should have caught that.
  21. I like watching our offensive shootout with the Vikings last week than this defensive struggle. That just show how scary the Vikings are, they can play at any pace and beat you.
  22. I am not a fan of exapansion, there are plenty of teams in this league that are in a city that cannot adequately support a football team.
  23. Nice drive by the Steelers. As we showed last week, the Vikings can be scored on quickly through the air.
  24. Great run by the Vikings on 3rd & Goal. That's confidence in your line to run in such a situation.
  25. I would still take TO on this team. We are a desparate team and TO is a desparate player, it would be a good match.
