  1. Peters committed today! Peters might be a better fit for us than the Harrison twins might have been. Number one, we already have Nick Faust who was a highly touted recruit himself. Nick has suposedly worked really hard this offseason to put on some size and is now over 200 pounds (the guy was rail thin coming in). Peters and Faust should be a very exciting back court. Number two, Peters could be a three, four year starter for us whereas the Harrison twins were a one-and-done. Peters is the first real blue chip recruit we've had in years! Even more importantly, he is our first first EVER from the AAU team DC Assault, who annually produces top recruits who do not stay in state. http://maryland.247sports.com/Article/Suitland-Point-Guard-Roddy-Peters-Commits-to-Maryland-96063 Our 2013 team is gong to sick! If Alex Len does not go to the NBA. We will have an elite front court with Len and Cleare, with Michigan transfer Evan Smotrycz, Charles Mitchell, and 2013 recruit Damonte Dodd (prep player who would have been a top 100 2012 recruit) coming off the bench. Xavier transfer Wells will start at SF, with top 2012 recruit Jake Layman coming off the bench. Nick Faust will be the shooting guard and Roddy Peters the point guard.
  2. I'm sure it will only be a matter of time, baby steps...
  3. Caesar's got the license for Baltimore. There are commericals all the time from Caesars at the Russell St site telling people to vote for Question 7. It's going to be open in the third quarter of 2014 regardless of Question 7 passing or not. But if Question 7 passes they say the site could host the World Series of Poker and boxing/MMA events. http://www.bizjournals.com/baltimore/news/2012/10/15/harrahs-baltimore-could-host-boxing.html
  4. Very minor tear, which is the same thing as a sprain. Harbaugh said the injury is thankfully minor.
  5. I don't think so. He has played with a no sense of purpose this year. Ed has been strong in run support. He loves it in Baltimore. I think we sign him to a new deal.
  6. I agree, Cody has been a huge disappointment. He started last season really strong but he has completely fallen off since then. Good point too. Romo only had around 165 passing yards through three quarters. He went off in the fourth.
  7. This is Joe's opportunity to name his price on a contract. With Joe it has always been, "well he has won so many game because he has had a defense." Now Joe does not have a defense to fall back on. If he can lead us to the Super Bowl, it will be because of Joe, not the defense. This is Joe's chance to prove he is an elite QB. If it does not work out this season, makes you wonder if a full blown rebuilding effort is on the horizon. If Joe steps up and takes control, we will know for sure we have our franchise guy. The rest of this year is HUGE. It is either the closing of a window, or the start of a very special run. BTW the upcoming schedule is not brutal by any means. Tough? Maybe. But certainly winnable. All of the teams on the schedule, outside of the Texans maybe, have been very inconsitent. This is truly a year for parity in the NFL, and at 5-1, we are in a lot better position than any other team out there. I do not know about you, but I am PUMPED to see how this Ravens team will respond to the injuries!
  8. Time for Joe to air it out! Seriously though, something needs to change scheme-wise defensively. Our blitz deception has been horrible. We cannot stop the run, and the pass rush is terrible so our DBs are getting roasted.
  9. ACL tear has been confirmed by Aaron Wilson of the Sun. Terrible, terrible news.
  10. I'll admit I was wrong. I am legitimately worried about the defense.
  11. Casino yes, track no. A Harrah's is going up next to M&T Bank stadium regardless of this passing or not. It just comes down to table game or no table games.
  12. We'll find out next week "how long it can last!" Something is going to have to change scheme-wise defensively. What were strengths in the pasts are now weaknesses.
  13. Get used to it because the defense is going to be bend but don't break all season. Next week will be interesting.
  14. Webb tore his right ACL a few years ago, so different knee this time.
  15. MCL sprain for Ngata
  16. Amazing season! I am disappointed obviously but we gave the Yankees everything we had! This was one of the most enjoyable sports seasons in my lifetime. Lets just hope this is the start of something special and not another fifteen year drought.
  17. Work is going by sooooo slow!!!
  18. This really surprised me. I had the Reds as the NL team in the World Series. If the Nats lose to the Cardinals, I want to see the guy that predicted a Cardinals-Giants NLCS. Pretty surprising... What a win by the O's!!! I cannot wait until 5 PM today! Even if we lose, I am proud of our guys for taking this to five. Lets hope our bats wake up tonight. And the Steelers lost! What a night!
  19. Chris Davis and Jim Thome are making great cases to sit haha. I hate these extra inning games! So stressful!
  20. Cal is absolutely miserable to listen to. Smoltz on the other hand is great. He is a natural in the booth. He provides incredible insight. He calls the pitches before they happen its great. I think Smoltz could be a great coach someday.
  21. Wow Gonzo is pitching a gem! Through seven with 8 K's! The guy is ice cold up there on the mound. He is getting ahead in the count 1-2, 0-2 every at bat. We better close this thing out!
  22. First home playoff win in fifteen years. Incredible feeling. This is now a three game series.
  23. Finally we are getting that Yankee pitch count up. I cannot help but think that Hardy run will come back to bite us. Hardy definitely would have scored.
  24. The Giants had a lot of lousy games last year.
  25. I think every team has these problems. It all comes down to who is performing well the last few weeks of the season and is healthy. Teams that have played a near perfect have fizzled out at the end, and teams who have played crappy 80% of the season caught fire at the right time and won the Super Bowl (the 9-7 Giants who had to win their last game of the season to simply get into the playoffs). The best you can ask for is to put yourself in position to make a run at the end of the season. At 4-1 and 2-0 in the division we are in a good position. We have a great win against one of the league's best in the Patriots. We just have to continue to make adjustments. The real test will be the Texans in two weeks. If we get blown out by them then we have problems. But we will play them tough, I'm sure of it.
