http://www.draftsite.com/nfl/mock-draft/2012 29 Baltimore Peter Konz* OC Wisconsin 6' 5" 315 61 Baltimore George Iloka S Boise State 6' 3" 207 92 Baltimore Brandon Weeden QB Oklahoma State 6' 4" 219 156 Baltimore Tauren Poole RB Tennessee 5' 11" 213 187 Baltimore Kyle Wilber OLB Wake Forest 6' 5" 235 219 Baltimore Jarius Wright WR Arkansas 5' 10" 180 Kinda like this one too. I wouldn't go OC #1 but the OL is delt with. I think Iloka is to high but I do like what I see. Don't get the QB at all.

http://www.drafttek.com/CMDRound1_17-32.asp 29 Baltimore Vontaze Burfict Arizona State SILB Reach/Value: -12 Height: 6'3" Weight: 245 Alternate Pick #1 Markelle Martin Alternate Pick #2 Zebrie Sanders Another week and another Vontaze Burfict selection. There isn't a whole lot that hasn't been said before. Burfict is a perfect fit for the Ravens in terms of scheme, need, and value. Ray Lewis is nearing the end and all three other ILBs on the roster are set to hit free agency this year. I expect at least one to be back, Dannell Ellerbe as he's restricted, but McClain is the starter and he could be moving on. Burfict would be able to step in and contribute as a rookie while learning from the great Ray Lewis, a player to whom he compares very favorably. Some other options would be if one of the big four OTs falls, Dont'a Hightower or Zach Brown as ILB alternatives, Peter Konz as Matt Birk is contemplating retirement and is a free agent, and trading out is always a real possibility for Ozzie. -Eugene Stasak 61 Baltimore Ben Jones Georgia OC Reach/Value: +1 Height: 6'3" Weight: 315 Alternate Pick #1 Philip Blake Alternate Pick #2 Andrew Datko Both centers on the Ravens roster, Matt Birk and Andre Gurode, are well on the wrong side of 30 and are set to hit free agency. In addition, starting left guard Ben Grubbs is also due for free agency, and after shelling out top money for right guard Marshall Yanda last year, many believe they'll let Grubbs walk. Enter Ben Jones. Jones is widely considered the second best center prospect, and he's got enough size and versatility to play guard as well. At worst, Jones comes in and becomes the top backup and heir apparent at center, replacing Gurode who undoubtedly will be allowed to walk. If Birk and/or Grubbs don't return, Jones immediately becomes the starter at center or competes for the starting left guard spot. -Eugene Stasak 92 Baltimore George Iloka Boise State FS Reach/Value: +6 Height: 6'3" Weight: 215 Alternate Pick #1 Trenton Robinson Alternate Pick #2 Jake Bequette I sort of like this draft. Burfict is to high from them. Maybe a trade down and get him makes sense.

http://walterfootball.com/draft2012_1.php Baltimore Ravens: Dont'a Hightower, ILB, Alabama Ozzie Newsome indicated that he'll be looking for Ray Lewis' successor this upcoming April. Well, Dont'a Hightower makes sense for a number of reasons. He's one of the best players available and fits the attitude of Baltimore's defense. He can play next to Lewis right away, and Ozzie Newsome has had success with Alabama players over the years. This selection also works for the Steelers, who could obtain this pick if the Ravens decide to acquire Mike Wallace for a first-round tender. If I'm Baltimore, I'd do this in a heartbeat. Wallace is still young, and he's better than anyone available at this juncture. Hurting your biggest rival is an added bonus. Baltimore Ravens: Jonathan Massaquoi, DE/OLB, Troy As good as the Ravens' defense is, they only have one player who can consistently get to the quarterback. Jonathan Massaquoi would be a nice insurance policy just in case Sergio Kindle can't get healthy. Baltimore Ravens: Chris Polk, RB, Washington Ricky Williams has retired, so he can now do everything he wasn't able to do during his playing career, like smoke weed and go on tours with crappy musicians. Oh wait... Just not seeing these. No OL help so far. A RB in the 3rd. It makes no sense.

Ravens Insider: Ravens center Birk wants to return, not retire
papasmurfbell replied to ExtremeRavens's topic in News Feeds
In the imortal words of every person who closes a bar. "You don't have to go home but you can't stay here." -
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d824c2f46/article/nfl-tv-rights-fees-reportedly-to-increase-60-percent?module=HP11_headline_stack It should go up a lot. With about 60% increases in revenue that makes for a much larger cap.

He freaked out when a caller/fan/peron who buys ravens stuff so actually helps put money in his pocker would question him on his assistant coaching. I don't think he wants to be near anyone who would question his decisions.
-
Again he can't throw the ball to himself. So without a QB the value is not there.
-
That was not my argument. I have said that he has been limited by poor QB play. He can't throw the ball to himself.
-
1000 yds is not some amazing # anymore. It is a 16 game schedule and not 14 or 12.
-
No. I have seen that Fitz becomes of no value when he has no QB to get him the ball.
-
I have to wonder when he will join the Avengers.
-
No it is not a zero sum argument. He should be paid around the 8-10 spot. That is a far price.
-
Nicely stated. I do not blieve HArbs with Westminster. I just don't think he wants to go out there. Maybe he doesn't want to be from his family. I do think "it will make us better" concept is very overstated.

It looks like the Rams heading back home

Al did win until he went senile. She couldn't pull it off until she moved and had better revenue coming in. With the new Stadium in LA the revenue will be there. -
http://www.engadget.com/2011/12/19/nfl-renews-tv-deals-with-cbs-fox-nbc-for-nine-more-years-mone/ It is 2014.

I know. The one that was here would not do what it would take to be good. His brother will that is for sure. That is why Laron went 1st round.
-
Really. He says he would do anything to win but he lets his friendships come infront of that. How about he says taking camp from Westminster will make the team better. How exactly does that work? I could go on and on.
-
I just saw that he was on with Coleman. Of course that ass doesn't ask any tough questions.
-
Also with him redoing his deal for a 2nd time. At some point his cap # will be crazy big. That is the same way McNair went down.
-
Sure John. We believe you.
-
OK so McClain is the the best alltime at wins at LB. He needs to be paid top 5. Add every player on the Ravens for the last 4 yrs to that also. They are all worth top 5 money.
-
I would. Ben is going to fall apart bad. It isn't if but when.
