Close losses will be the doom of this season IF we don't make the playoffs. Cam got stupid with the play calling for a few weeks in the middle of the season and we might miss the playoffs because of it. The Suggs package should have been utilized this entire year (at least in the games we needed it) as well...

Yay! I can be of use now, being the only board member (I think?) living in the Chi. The Bears are in a ton of turmoil right now. The fans had EXTREMELY inflated expectations this year. The Jay Cutler move was supposed to put the Bears over the top, but everyone hadn't realized their defense had been falling for years, and their Offensive Line and WR's were two of the worst units in the league. People thought Cutler could be a savior and that Urlacher still had it. Obviously, Urlacher was hurt, but ask any real fan and they will tell you Lance Briggs is the leader on that defense now, so the drop has been even more sad. I honestly don't know whether the Bears will show up. Lovie is on the hot seat, everyone hates Cutler, and not to mention the FO traded a 2nd rounder to the Bucs for Gaines. So the Bears are missing the playoffs, and they won't have a 1st OR 2nd round pick, people are disgusted. With this in mind, I think it all depends on the start of the game. The Bears showed up versus the Packers, but I think if we can jam it down their throats early, they will roll over a la Detroit. Chalk up a W.

Yes, but Miami closes @Tenn, Houston and Pittsburgh. That's tough. The Jets also have Atlanta, @Indy, Cincinnati. That could be tough...As we just saw Caldwell looks like he's going to play his starters and we just have to hope Cincy has a reason to play in week 17.

Great point, and I still think Indy could take them out with some of the starters out, all they need to do is keep Peyton in. It is too bad this game is on a short week because otherwise I really don't think they would rest anyone.

We haven't had any all year when he WAS healthy so I didn't expect anything better today. We play with Pryce, Gregg, and Ngata together often, those three are all run-stoppers, and I think the philosophy is to not allow anything on the ground and make them beat us through the air.

I feel bad for Schwartz. Coming home and he get's embarrassed like this. I like his attitude, he was out there calling out the players when the game was long over.
