Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco stole the show in front of a national TV audience Monday night and the NFL has recognized him for that performance. Flacco has been named the AFC’s Offensive Player of the Week for leading the Ravens to a 44-13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Flacco completed 21-of-29 passes for 299 yards and two touchdowns no interceptions. He finished the game with a quarterback rating of 128.4. “Joe Flacco is going to be a great player,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said after the game. “Joe Flacco is a great player. Joe Flacco has been a great player.” Flacco ran the Ravens no-huddle offense to near perfection, spreading the ball around to seven different targets. I watched the O's game last night via SunSports in Tampa, and its glad to hear that Baltimore is getting noticed again as a sports town..In a 24 hr hour span they had over 100,000 Fans in attendance, split between the Ravens game & O's Game.. Terrible thing is, kinda feel sorry for the folks down here, even with a winner they do not support them. I have The NFL Ticket, and the Bucs home opener was blacked out because it was not sold out, and since SunSports main cover team is the Rays, and they dont come close to putting 1/3 of the butts in seats. Its great to see the Yards packed again, 31,000 at last nights game...
