Yes and before Likely developed.
-
Wow! I would love to see both Andrews and Likely on the field at the same time.
-
The Ravens are capable of beating the Chiefs but it will require intensity of focus and ability for MacDonald and Monken to adjust on-the-fly. The Chiefs' defense is as solid as ours. Their offense is all Mahomes and Pacheco. We have to pressure Mahomes without letting Pacheco run wild.
A key to victory would be getting an early lead.

FWIW after the game Harbs said 'Gus is OK'.
Maybe we'll know more Tuesday.
-
I think it will be a close game, but I'd rather face Mahomes rather than the Bills with their 'automatic first downs' using the 'tush-push'! Allen is like a runaway horse when he decides to take off. As good as Pacheco is, I'd rather face him than Allen.
Right at this moment, I think the Ravens have the better team. We just have to show up and be fired up like we have been.
-
Sometimes 2 big plays is all you get and Likely made em.

Yep, he was definitely fired up to play. It'll be great to have him for the next two games.
-
Our defense was outstanding. Keeping the Texans to just 3 offensive points is quite the achievement when that same offense scored 45 just last week against the vaunted Browns defense. Roquan, Clowney, Madabuike, Green are having career years. Somehow I'd like to see us keep PQ and Clowney but I don't think we have the cap space to do it. Those 4 guys are irreplaceable, and next year's team is going to be the worse for them and MacDonald not being here.
Monken might be gone too...I'm hoping against hope that we can keep him too.
We're in a carpe diem mode right now, though. This is the most well-rounded team the Ravens have ever had and I'm really enjoying the ride.
GO RAVENS!

I’m signing off for now. What a great 2nd half!
-
Dee, I think it’s safe now. You can put a fork in Houston!
-
Nice run by Justice.
-
The Oline and play selection need to improve in the 2nd half!
-
Nobody’s been open.

We’ll, I don’t often post when I’m watching the game but I’ll try and break in if we get safely ahead.
-
Hah! My wife and I are already parked in front of the tube. Starting to sweat it out. But I have a good feeling about this.
-
I’m counting on MacDonald, Monken, Roquan, and Lamar for the Ravens to be fully prepared and locked in for this game. We should get a solid victory.
-
It's true that Kolar isn't as much of a threat as a receiver but we have thrown to him the last 2 games just enough to keep them honest.
If Lamar is still zoned in, we should win.
-
I'm glad they're sitting Andrews. I think it's wise. Likely has been outstanding. I think they'll Andrews next week though.
I wonder if our defensive strategy will be the same one we used against them in game 1. Show Stroud a ton of different looks and keep the pressure on him.
Here's hoping our 2 offensive tackles can keep the Texans defensive ends from sandwiching Jackson.
-
Humphrey's really been having his problems the last few years. I wish he could play. He's pretty damned good in the slot.
-
Yeah, I agree. Hold him out this week and let him play some next week.
-
I agree that the scheduled opponents aren't that bad, especially compared to this year. Sooner or later the fat quarterback contracts are going to come back to affect the Browns, Bengals, etc. as well as the Ravens.
-
It's really good that Lamar is locked in. He has to remain 'in the zone' and hopefully the rest of the offense is getting the message. I think Roquan will keep the defense on point.
The current window for us is closing. 20 free agents coming up and not much cap space. It will be awhile before we have as good a chance to win a ring again.
The future is now.

Zay Flowers and Oweh were also at practice today.

Hats off to the Bucs too. They were ready to play and Mayfield, who has quietly had a great season, was superb.
The Browns should have kept him and not gone for the idiotic Watson deal.
Circle the wagons, Chiefs are coming
