  1. That's way too low. Even if based only on passer rating. I hope the teams in the league feel this way about him. "What do you think Mike?"
  2. I don't see one. In the Ravens defense you have to be able to do both. Thomas can cover a lot of ground. He'll play free, yet will be asked to play strong in certain formations.
  3. As we know, the secondary is definitely loaded with talent. This will prove to be extremely important against the excellent QB's and passing attacks. Speed....another very important factor....and down the stretch these guys will still have their legs and endurance. Who captains this secondary is truly up for debate. New-comer Earl Thomas has a straight path to the Hall of Fame and is no stranger to commanding elite secondaries. Thomas led the famed “Legion of Boom” that appeared in back-to-back Super Bowls with thr Seattle Seahawks. Jimmy Smith has been with the team since 2011 and has been perhaps the most underrated cornerback in his time in the league. Tony Jefferson is entering his third-season in Baltimore and plays above-average with an edge and is a beloved character in the locker room. Tavon Young is perhaps the best slot-cornerback in the league and is a play-maker with the ball in his hands Then there’s Marlon Humphrey, the best cornerback in the NFL that no one is talking about. With a new jersey number (now #44, formerly #29), perhaps now he will get noticed by the media. Humphrey, who will turn just 23-years old on July 8th, is entering the prime of his career and will look to open the eyes and drop the jaws of those watching him. Call him Richard Sherman 2.0, because Marlon Humphrey will shutdown any who line-up against him and have quarterbacks numbers all game long. Beyond this quintet of elite players are starting caliber talents like Brandon Carr, Anthony Levine, and Anthony Averett. The Ravens will have great role players behind thim in guys like DeShon Elliott, Maurice Canady, Chuck Clark, Iman Marshall, and Cyrus Jones. The Baltimore Ravens secondary is the gift that keeps on giving… Never before have we seen a Ravens secondary this talented and deep across the board. From ball-hawks to big-hitters, this back-end has it all. The interceptions will come by the truck load and anything less than 20 would be a disappointment. There’s not a passing offense in this league that will challenge this unit in 2019. .....https://ebonybird.com/2019/06/13/2019-ravens-defense-unlike-any-before/
  4. Great find. Love it!
  5. Yes sir...hope springs eternal...............
  6. He's got until opening day in September to lose that. About 2 pounds a week. He should be good. Nevertheless what a dumby! contract year! His one big chance to cash in and shows up in bad shape.
  7. What does America need? We need to love our country and to love each other enough to make some bold and necessary changes. We need to face some things that are difficult to face and rise from the ashes of denial and despair to do something about them. We need public funding of federal campaigns in order to override Citizens United, because until we get the money out of politics then nothing will fundamentally change. We need universal health care and a $15/hour. minimum wage. We need free college at State colleges and universities. We need to remove the burden of our student loan debt. And yes, we have the money for all that! We need to repeal the 2017 $2T tax cut that gave 83 cents of every dollar to the richest individuals and corporations (then put back in the middle class tax cut). We need to end corporate subsidies like the $26B we gave to the fossil fuel companies alone last year. We need to insist the government can negotiate drug prices with Big Pharma. We need to keep our military budget to what the military says they need to buy, not just what defense contractors want to sell. Moreover, we need to realize that every dollar we put into helping people thrive is a dollar we are putting into the economy. By uncapping people’s dreams, we support their living at a higher level of creativity and productivity – which in turn becomes more spending, more consumer base, more tax revenue, and ultimately an end to the repressive and even tyrannous rule of trickle-down-economics. And we need to do more than that. We need to address the chronic trauma of millions of American children who are trapped in violent communities and in classrooms with inadequate school supplies with which to teach a child to read. We need everything from more funding for education to wrap-around services to trauma-informed education to mindfulness in the schools. We need a cabinet level Department of Children and Youth, and a massive realignment of investment in the direction of children ten years old and younger. We need a completely transformed Environmental Protection Agency, led by a world-class scientist and a magnet for sustainability experts. We need to face, as a nation, the moral emergency of our climate crisis. We must commit to doing everything necessary – including achieving carbon neutrality by 2030 – in order to stave off planetary catastrophe. In addition to universal health care, we need to understand that even that is not enough when so many of our environmental, food, chemical, and agricultural policies make us so much more prone to sickness. We need a president who understands this, and a completely revitalized Food and Drug Administration no longer beholden to corporate interests. We need to realize that we cannot have an abundant future unless we clean up our past, and therefore we should pay reparations for slavery and take reparative measures toward Native American communities as well. And we need to face the perilous nature of our national security agenda, based as it is on endless preparation for war and far too few proactive efforts to wage peace. All that will change with a Williamson presidency, as we develop a United States Department of Peace through which we will reclaim the moral authority of a nation once again using its power to champion the values we hold most dear. Few of the solutions I mention above will be achieved by the political status quo because all of the problems I mention above were created by the political status quo! I challenge the notion that only those whose careers have been entrenched in the system that got us into a ditch are qualified to lead us out of it. Quite to the contrary. Among other things, people who have themselves received hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations from securities and investment firms, Big Pharma, oil companies and chemical companies, aren’t going to go to Washington to challenge its sacred cows. What we need is not a political mechanic or a member of the club. What we need is a radical truth-teller and an inspirer of hearts. And that would be me.
  8. I received this today..........She is persistent, inspired and relentless. She sees clearly. You never know what can happen over the next 2 years. If she keeps coming this hard and with such a clear and profound message then she does have a very good chance. This woman has a very clear vision and a plan on how to make it reality. Here's her stand on all that needs to be addressed in this country........ https://www.marianne2020.com/issues
  9. The Ravens Mount Rushmore of Quarterbacks.... Here's to hoping that Lamar breaks this pattern.... I was once the Ravens QB....
  10. This woman is fantastic. She is the first political candidate whom I have heard, who has detailed explanations for everything she intends to address. I get updates almost every day. She may not have any chance to win, but she is going to plant so many seeds of positive change in peoples minds. https://www.marianne2020.com/posts/marianne-on-msnbc-with-stephanie-ruhle https://www.marianne2020.com/video-posts/on-global-warming https://www.marianne2020.com/video-posts/williamson-explains-her-qualifications-for-president
  11. That's correct. and...He was a flop as a GM. Phil was not a coach. He's one guy. How does one guy suddenly become Bills Foundation that built the Ravens? More than half of Billicks coaches came right from the college ranks the rest from the Bill Walsh tree. None worked under Bellicheat.
  12. There were none on the Ravens when Billick got here.
  13. What foundation? The one that gave us the 4-12 '96 season? The 6-9-1 '97 season? the 6-10 '98 season? Yea...they looked like the Browns. None of Bills coaches survived here. Now...the inability for fans to obtain any information about the team and what was going on....that was probably Bills influence.
  14. Fans forget the times and what the organization was like before Billick. They were an under achieving roster and poorly structured organization. There was a lot of hate and Billick was extremely loyal to Art Model. He took on all that hate to ease the pressure on the others. He created a structure of accountability within the organization. He introduced technology where there was none. He assembled great coaching staffs.Together they developed the personnel that they had to the max and assisted in fostering the swagger of those players into a team identity and group that consistently found ways to win. Before Billie they consistently found ways to lose. The Darkside...Super Bowl...yea...he's definitely belongs in the Ring.
  15. He would be a nice addition but at what cost? Not worth it to me if they Ravens start heading toward CAP jail again.
  16. I agree too. Accuracy and turning the ball over. These are huge weakness that will kill any hopes of going anywhere up. This has to change, and until we see the change or improvement, then there's no reason to set our hopes and expectations high. Now...if we see an improvement in accuracy and a significant decline in turnovers during the preseason and into the first quarter of the season anything is possible. I like all the positives that I saw last season. He brings a lot to the table, yet the weaknesses could deep 6 everything. Nevertheless, you have to admit that it was exciting watching that run last year.
  17. She has a snowballs chance, yet I have no doubt that she is the one candidate who will deliver on what she promises and will get us on the right course of action and lead our Nation through it's greatest threat to it's existence. This may not be the only way that the insanity can be stopped. It's 2019 and I don't see the American consciousness raised to a high enough level where she could pull off a victory Yet if her voice, platform and agenda can reach the ears of the public, then at some point in time the seeds may take root. Even if she fails, she will raise the vibration and consciousness in America. Maybe some of her rivals incorporate parts of her plan and agenda into their campaigns. Right now, whoever emerges from the race with the best chance to win the Presidency and has a commitment to fulfill most of what Marianne has publicly posted....they get my vote. I hope it's Marianne. Really...as crazy as I am....I'm all in on her. She addresses all the issues unlike any politician of today...check out her campaign website. She addresses everything from a new, knowledgeable and informed, and higher perspective. Amazingly fresh....and full of hope. https://www.marianne2020.com/ https://www.marianne2020.com/issues

  19. All 3 can also take the next step up in their development and flourish.

    OTA'S

Of course the reports are good....
  21. Yea...Lisfranc....15 month recover time. Wheels are everything when it comes to speed.
  22. Not much talent left in free agency so I guess they are trying to "get what they can get" to make the overall roster better. I think they have 13 receivers on the roster at the moment so Competition should be fierce. A little more on Floyd...... So basically he doesn't drop the ball. Between Lamar and others droping and turning over the ball this will kill this offense. Every pair of sure hands makes the Ravens success odds better. Let's hope he can block well. He's got the size.
  23. This disaster was not brought on by global warming but it gives a good picture of the future in many countries if we go past the tipping point....
