Looks like 'promise' and potential' is a short term quality for Eric. He's making moves like crazy. Good move...10 picks next year....

My guess is The Sound of Music.

A little off topic yet very serious....

Nobody predicted this..........

So true. I'm guilty of that. especially if the player is on a "hated rival" team. We've also turned sports players lives into "reality TV." Off the field behavior is now heavily covered by a media that is searching for one misstep. Controversy sells. And so many players have exemplary behavior yet that's not newsworthy. It doesn't sell. That's living in America. Nothings ever good enough. What have you done for me lately? And then, "you have to think, act and behave the way that I want you too." I guess that's part of the human condition; many people have "a little bit of troll in them." ...and the NFL agents should advise players "Please don't feed the Trolls."

He got scraed....

RG3 has missed so much playing time, so much opportunity to work in this offense and with the receivers, that he's #3 on the depth chart. This 2019 train has left the station and he's walking far behind it. I doubt that he catches up.

Bruce C stepping down from Ravens game day announcing

His Saturday afternoon radio show is good. It's got to get old shouting into the mike "It's 3rd down!" -
What's the average amount of career years for all players in the NFL? 3.3 So they are different? https://www.statista.com/statistics/240102/average-player-career-length-in-the-national-football-league/ When I accepted my job, I agreed to a salary with bonus's. If I don't like what I'm getting paid, then I can leave. Or stay. I'm not a prisoner. These guys also are not prisoners. Perhaps they are worried about younger players taking their jobs. They should be. And these young guys have just as much right to a job in the NFL if they have the talent and abilities to make an NFL roster. And if they don't like the pay, then they can go elsewhere.

It does take time to develop chemistry. It will take time for all of them to be on the same page and play instinctively. That will happen over the season. The same is true for the 2019 offense. This is going to be fun watching this team grow this season It's early but if they come together by the end of the year....look out 2020. I think the defense will be better because Weddle couldn't not run or cover. Mosley, who I think is really good, struggled in coverage and Suggs is out of gas and running on flat tires. zadarius will be missed. That's a big loss. The Ravens got better imo.

There will not be 9 teams with a better defense than the Ravens. They will finish out in the top 5 at worst.

The Ravens aren't getting much love from the national media this pre season and this is ridiculous....

These are grown, intelligent, responsible men in the Ravens Front Office. They're not like us.

The Ravens FO is not stupid. If they did something like that there are 587 ways the truth could leak out. That would be one outrageous lie and cover up when all they would have to say is he has back spasms or high ankle sprain or ........... Can you imagine the fine and penalties they would incur?! To get a 7th round pick? Maybe a 6th. What this would do to their reputation and credibility?! Risk/Reward. The math here is really bad. This is the real world. Not the Sopranos.

And Cyrus the Virus! I feel a whole lot better tonight. I was beginning to worry some. But not anymore. SPEED! This is the fastest Ravens team ever. Maybe the fastest in the NFL. Offense and defense. They are going to raise hell in the NFL! Speed and Power. And everything was vanilla with no game plan. I don't think the Jags crossed the 50 all night. 0 points. 112 total yards. Lamar's passes were sweet, tight spirals to Moore and Snead. He has really taken big steps forward as a passer. Love the guy. You can see his team mates love him. Infectious. No big fat ego. A lot of players stepped up and out from the shadows. Tim Williams, Boykin, Young, Jones, Board, Bowser, Wormley, ...who the hell is Modster? Ricard dominated. Vedvik looked terrific. The Ravens should get some great offers for him. Great job by Ravens coaching staff so far for developing one interesting pool of no name talent. Good job Eric. and finally good job Steve Saunders. This team is in great physical shape.

Really sad...this is why Republicans care..... Rather thanthis is the right thing, to do they don't want to lose voters. -

I know she has no shot to win the primary, yet here's why I like her. None of the candidates would dare say something like this.... "When I was asked about this subject in last Tuesday's debate, I said... "The issue of gun safety, of course, is that the NRA has us in a chokehold. But so do the pharmaceutical companies, the health insurance companies, the fossil fuel companies and the defense contractors. None of this will change until we either pass a constitutional amendment or legislation that establishes public funding for federal campaigns. But for politicians, including my fellow candidates who themselves have taken tens of thousands — and in some cases hundreds of thousands — of dollars from the same corporate donors...to think that they now have the moral authority to say we're going to take them on, I don't think the Democratic party should be surprised that so many Americans believe yada yada yada." They'll adopt some of it now if they think it will get them voters but not because they have the moral fiber and spine to step out and risk criticism. and not because any of them has vision.
