  1. See...look at what you stated and see how agonizing it must be for a GM. Maybe they do the 1st and 3rd get Ramsey and take the risk that Kaufusi falls to the 4th. If he does...not too bad...... but wait! We got nobody to protect Joe. Oh! And KO's gone!
  2. Thanks. I don't know what they will get out of this lot, but even 1 player would be huge because to make a team roster as an undrafted player requires a ton of guts, determination and good football skills. It's extra hard when the team drafted 11 players. But...there is a lot of dead wood that needs to be cleaned out of this shed.
  3. Fans of every team can agree on this; "Every year there is a position of need that they (my team) fail to address in the draft.". This happens when the cards don't fall your way. And that happens to every GM. Can't get the QB, CB, WR that they want because somebody ahead of them took them....and....the next best guy is not worth that pick. They get to the next round and find the position is picked over even more. and so on. But they score on other players. The Ravens haven't done good on CB's, safeties and receivers in the draft for a while now. Now....a good pass rush and QB pressure will make their secondary look better and that's what Ozzie could get. This team needs playmakers.Time will tell if they got any. I think they got some.
  4. Is there a Bart Scott in there?
  5. There's a lot of fans like me who know little about these players, so I'm going to keep putting up all the information I can. yea...this is a discussion board, so it's cool to state your opinion, positive or negative. I like hearing both sides of a discussion.
  6. It's been a fun morning trying to learn about all these players.
  7. Yea....that's fair. Maybe you take Jack if you feel that you're on the cusp of getting to the Super Bowl. Maybe he has 2 good years and then you're back to square one. Remember Clowney? Maybe they take Tunsil if Stanley is gone. What we know is Ramsey, Elliot and Bosa were gone. Ravens fans wouldn't be moaning about this draft if they got Ramsey or Bosa. Don't blame Ozzie for what was out of reach.
  8. I can't hate on this guy.....love the pick. By trading back Ozzie got 3 players instead of 2. Great move. This is Hensley's take..... Round 2, Pick No. 42: Kamalei Correa, LB, Boise State | Highlights
  9. I share everyone's sentiment about this being a "timid" draft. The Ravens have been burned by players health and off the field issues. Prestons right as far as the Ravens playing it safe. So they went looking for smart, good character guys who are fast with high motors. They defined what being a "Raven" means to them today and went looking for guys that fit that profile. Just about everyone of these guys is always around the ball. Fuck the 40 times and workout warrior numbers. Brains will beat brawn. Not too bad having players whose head is in the game and who play whistle to whistle. McCrary types. Speed kills in today's NFL and the Ravens have been a step too slow. It's been a long time since we heard "They don't know how fast we are". The rules have changed the landscape. Ozzie got players to fit into their scheme to compete in today's changing NFL. They can now hunt Rthsslssxbrrgrrr, Brady, Dalton and the rest. The teams in good shape right now. Not Super Bowl potential shape, but this is a roster that will compete. It's improved this off season. Lot of key guys coming back from injuries and they burned the phone lines off last night trying to bring some undrafted gems in.
  10. So all of you agree with Preston....
  11. The talking heads are saying he can be another Julian Edeleman...a 7th round QB who got thrown into returning punts and playing in the slot. He does have to do his 2 years for the Navy.
  12. Another CB...round 6....
  13. The Ravens have a plan and that is to get as many fast, talented players in rabid competition for a starting position. The cream will rise to the top. Look at the logjam at RB right now...... Out of that group will emerge a strong corps. Then we have them aggressively trying to develop enough talent to make life hell for quarterbacks.... They have 67 highly talented TE's, 587 receivers, 34 CB's, defensive lineman out the yahoo all of whom will battle it out for roster spots. You get the picture? It will come together. I'm just beginning to see it and I'm getting excited. Trestman is going to be able to do so many things with the offense....anything he wants to do. Same for Pees. And once again it will be raining talent on Special Teams. Harbaugh and Ozzie set this tone and plan in place. They are dead set on stopping the nonsense and bringing Ravens football back.
  14. WOW! Between Reynolds and Dixon the Ravens have cornered the market on TD machines. Reynolds has great athleticism and football IQ. He can play many positions. Great character, great college player...tough...it will befun finding out how the Ravens use him and where he finds his place.
  15. Tunsil is one big character red flag and you don't use the 6th pick in the draft on that. He's dishonest, thinks the rules don't apply to him and likes drugs and partying. He'll love South Beach.
  16. He's like Marshawn Lynch. Here's a nasty guy for you oldno82.
  17. All he does is find the end zone. He's a TD machine.
  18. These guys are tough. you can have good character and still break somebody's jaw. Moore seems like a confident guy....
  19. Agreed. They have a roster full of projects
