This was the worst rain storm that I have experienced in my life. That goes all the way back to Hurricane Agnes. 6" in 2 hours and my whole street became a river. We saw a video taken from the second floor of a restaurant showing 3 girls, that my kids knew, getting swept down the street. Fortunately they escaped. I wanted to take a bike ride today in Patapsco State Park but they would not let me in. They said the water got up to the Rangers station. All that I could think of is that this is what he loves to do, and the money is good, despite the $4 mill pay cut and a signed injury waiver. That injury waiver alone shows where Dennis's head is at vs Long's. Some of these guys are in a different zone as far as their love for the game. Hell...yesterday Joe told reportes who asked if he was concerned about his health after his career was over. joe said, "I can find somebody to run with the kids if I have too." i guess Pita is like that. Those are some sobering thoughts Rob. I can't argue with them. Way too many questions. It's really bad when your stud, speedy, FA deep threat receiver can't run good enough to pass a conditioning test that all the chubby, slow lineman passed. It is really hard to have a playoff caliber team with so many new faces. As far as a playoff caliber team this years Ravens will have to "show me." I'm starting them at the bottom...meaning this is a team that 1. has to learn how to find ways to win. there's a lot that goes into this. Make more big plays than your opponent. Win the field position game and time of possession. get more turnovers, sacks and QB hurries....and a whole lot more. 2. they have to run the ball and have a really solid defense to be in position to win. 2. defeat teams with winning records. 3. win more "in Division" games than they lose. I'll throw in "Beat the Bengals" since they can't. 4. win more conference games.
