Tomorrows Headline: Ravens stun undefeated Steelers

Ravens win probability 35.5%. 10 point underdogs. Bonus Question since it appears the board is in a dead lock tie for the contest: Which QB gives the Ravens the best chance to win? 1. RG3 2. McSorley 3. Huntley 4. Other

Thanks for doing the work Baltimore Sun....a cut and paste of the highlights below,,,,,,,,,,,,,, https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/after-coronavirus-outbreak-here-s-where-the-ravens-roster-stands-for-game-vs-steelers/ar-BB1byulN?ocid=hplocalnews Here is where the team’s roster stands heading into Wednesday afternoon. In good shape Secondary Who’s available: S Chuck Clark, S DeShon Elliott, CB Davontae Harris, CB Marlon Humphrey, DB/LB Anthony Levine Sr., CB Marcus Peters, S Jordan Richards, CB Jimmy Smith, CB Tramon Williams Who’s out: CB Terrell Bonds (reserve/COVID-19 list; previously on injured reserve), S Geno Stone (reportedly tested positive Tuesday) Running backs Who’s available: J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Mark Ingram II, Justice Hill, TySon Williams (practice squad) Special teams Who’s available: P Sam Koch, K Justin Tucker, LS Nick Moore (practice squad) Wide receiver Who’s available: Miles Boykin, Marquise Brown, Dez Bryant, Devin Duvernay, James Proche II, Jaylon Moore (practice squad) Limited but manageable Offensive line Who’s available: G/C Bradley Bozeman, G Ben Bredeson, T Orlando Brown Jr., C Trystan Colon-Castillo, G/T D.J. Fluker, G/T Tyre Phillips, G Ben Powers, T Jake Rodgers, T R.J. Prince (practice squad) Who’s out: G/T Will Holden (reserve/COVID-19 list; previously on practice squad), G/C Patrick Mekari, C/G Matt Skura The interior of the Ravens’ offensive line took a big hit as a result of the outbreak, with the team’s top two centers sidelined. Colon-Castillo, an undrafted rookie, could make the first start of his career at center. Or it could be Bozeman, who played center at Alabama. Holden rotated series at right tackle with Fluker against the Tennessee Titans but Fluker might regain that role in a full-time capacity with Holden sidelined. Phillips’ return from an ankle injury is a positive development for the line, which now has a bit more flexibility at guard and tackle. Linebacker Who’s available: ILB Chris Board, OLB Tyus Bowser, OLB Jaylon Ferguson, ILB L.J. Fort, ILB Malik Harrison, ILB Patrick Queen, ILB Kristian Welch, OLB Aaron Adeoye (practice squad), OLB Chauncey Rivers (practice squad) Who’s out: OLB Matthew Judon, OLB Pernell McPhee The Ravens defense will be without Judon, a top edge rusher, and McPhee, a top edge setter. Bowser and Ferguson seem primed for starting roles and will each need to have one of the best games of their young careers if the Ravens hope to beat the Steelers. Adeoye and Rivers could be elevated to the active roster as rotational pieces on game day. All of the team’s top inside linebackers will be available Wednesday afternoon. Quarterback Who’s available: Robert Griffin III, Trace McSorley, Tyler Huntley (practice squad) Severely limited Tight end/fullback Who’s available: Sean Culkin (practice squad), Eric Tomlinson (practice squad), Luke Willson (practice squad)......... Who’s out: Mark Andrews, Patrick Ricard The Ravens didn’t add a tight end to the 53-man roster after Nick Boyle’s season-ending knee injury in Week 10 but signed Willson to the practice squad and made him active against the Titans. Ricard also continued to take on tight end duties. But with both sidelined and the tight end/fullback position playing a crucial role in offensive coordinator Greg Roman’s scheme, there’s a good chance that two, and maybe all three, of the practice squad tight ends are elevated to the active roster. Defensive line............. Who’s available: DT Justin Ellis, DE Yannick Ngakoue, DT Broderick Washington, DE Derek Wolfe, DT Aaron Crawford (practice squad) Who’s out: DE Calais Campbell, DT Justin Madubuike, DE Jihad Ward, DT Brandon Williams (ankle injury) Full Article......https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/after-coronavirus-outbreak-here-s-where-the-ravens-roster-stands-for-game-vs-steelers/ar-BB1byulN?ocid=hplocalnews

Today's Spare No Expense ER poster contest: The winner gets 3 gifts this week! That's right. ER Board approved! 1 to give to your kids... and 1 for yourself.... And 1 for the whole family to bond together and enjoy while having good, clean fun: The Catch? You have to answer 3 questions: 1. How many times does RG3 get sacked? 2. How many times does RG3 fumble? 3. How many times does RG3 throw an interception?

Not so sure about this.................OK.... ............... Wednesday afternoon is good for me. The outlook???? Not good.
-
Fluker, Ferguson, Washington and Phillips have been cleared and activated for Wednesday's game.

BWAAAAAAAAAAhahahhahheeheee!

It's worse than a week 4 pre season game. It's the Ravens week 4 pre season line up, with no practice reps, vs the Steelers starting line up....for 60 minutes. I will be pulling all the way for "Our" Ravens. Their "Our Guys."

To try and get an idea of who can play, the best information that I can find is this depth chart: https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/depth/_/name/bal

Here's information on a possible starting O line from the Ravens website. It doesn't look good. https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/ravens-offensive-line-faces-more-changes-and-challenges The D line..... After watching Denver Sunday this game is setting up to be a slaughter. The Steelers should set all kinds of records.

Ravens win probability down to 35.4%. This may have something to do with 20% of the team having the virus (that goes up everyday), unnamed staff have it (beginning to think Harbaugh or Wink or G'ro have it), the Ravens facility is closed, the team can't practice and now Lamar has it too. I think the Steelers are scared to play the Ravens. Game postponed to Tuesday night.

...................................................................... He's absolutely 100% correct!

Ravens win probability: 45.8%. Sounds about right. I've already written this game off as a loss. that would put the Ravens at 6-5 with a decent chance to make the playoffs given their closing schedule. That would also make revenge in the playoffs that much sweeter. It can happen if the Ravens get healthy. In short...it's not over. For a time in the past, it seemed like the Steelers would win this game in Baltimore and the Ravens would win in Pittsburgh. Here's to hoping that's the case this year. They split many seasons. Team Stats Points Per Game 26.8 29.8 Points Allowed Per Game 19.5 17.4 Total Yards 357.7 356.5 Yards Passing 197.2 254.3 Yards Rushing 160.5 102.2 Yards Allowed 353.6 332.9 Pass Yards Allowed 237.6 229.5 Rush Yards Allowed 116.0 103.4 Edwards and Hill had a good game in a must win game for the Steelers. RG3 was the QB..... that was with many Ravens starters on the bench. This year Lamar will be on the field. Big difference. In that game the Ravens ran for 223 yards and 5.1ypc. Rookie RG Phillips is back. They'll be fine. Hey...if I keep going I'm going to talk myself into a Ravens win! Here's my questions: Can the Ravens play for 60 minutes? They keep giving up leads and wilting in the 4th quarter. Can Lamar put the O on his back, execute and win a big game...finely? Campbell and Williams will be out again. The D has to do a better job, especially in the 4th quarter and with tackling. How many sacks does Ngaquoe get? I'm thinkg 2 even though Ben is really getting rid of the ball fast...call them coverage sacks. Can Peters get his head in the game? Penalties! Self inflicted, self destructive, game changing penalties! This is how they keep finding ways to lose. OK...it's been 2 weeks in a row the Ravens have been burned by trick plays. Tomlin has one coming if the game is close. Will they fall for it again? Will Brown EVER catch a ball? Will the Ravens offense finally make a big play? "Yo...you're on a roll! Big Truss...Big Truss...remember?" The Ravens backs are against the wall. Injuries, covid, losing...lot's of distractions. Final Question: Will they loose faith and not show up? Nah. Not this game!

Good Morning! I'm giving myself today, probably not the whole day, to get over this loss (which most of us saw coming.) Then it's on to Thursday night Steelers game. After all, even though it's very disappointing, it's only a game, a temporary distraction, in a real world with real troubles and issues. Yes...a Ravens win would certainly pump up the energy and take the edge off these difficult times that we are living in, yet this season is not over. The outlook that I see is that by Sunday night the Ravens will be 6-5. "I see the Ravens running the table after that." Cowboys, Browns, Jaguars, Giants and Bengal.s It's "doable." There remains too much talent on this team to flop and cave in. Will 11-5 be enough? We'll see. oldno...your son and family are in my thoughts.
-
I'll pass on that until February, Until then I'm going to keep looking for something good...
-
Do you think 11-5 makes it? I think the Ravens beat the Steelers. Go ahead. You can call me a moron..........
-
The brutal truth....could be worse by Thursday night..... 2020 AFC North Standings TEAM W L T PCT PF PA Pittsburgh 10 0 0 1.000 298 174 Cleveland 7 3 0 .700 238 261 Baltimore 6 4 0 .600 268 195 Cincinnati 2 7 1 .250 213 270

I'm very optimistic. The Ravens are on pace for 12 wins. They have the #1 defense in points surrendered. #1 Special Teams. We've seen this winning formula with lesser Ravens teams. The offense however inconsistent it looks, is cranking out 20+ points for the 31st straight game.....and shit!....they may find their grove over the next 8 games. Other than the Chiefs, how scary is that AFC list of contenders?
-
Here's the list if the season ended today: AFC 1. Steelers (7-0) 2. Chiefs (8-1) 3. Bills (7-2) 4. Titans (6-2) 5. Ravens (6-2) 6. Raiders (5-3) 7. Dolphins (5-3) First team out: Browns (5-3) If league decides to expand to 16 playoff teams... NFC 1. Saints (6-2) 2. Seahawks (6-2) 3. Packers (6-2) 4. Eagles (3-4-1) 5. Buccaneers (6-3) 6. Cardinals (5-3) 7. Rams (5-3) First team out: Bears (5-4) The Ravens knocked the Colts out....for now. The Titans game looms larger. Just keep winning and all will be well.

One of my sons refuses to watch horse racing due to this. I know of others who won't watch it anymore. 34 is too way, way too many. I love horse racing but I don't want to have all these deaths.
