I'm sure if you look around you will find people saying other things. The best ones I have heard came from NFL Network. Seems a lot of them think the Steelers and Jets are the best teams in the NFL at this time.

Bill Polian: 18-Game Schedule a Done Deal -- Tue Sep 28, 2010 --from FFMastermind.com AP reports Indianapolis Colts president Bill Polian believes the debate over an 18-game NFL season is over, and an expanded schedule will soon become a reality. The competition committee member and former league executive twice said he expects the NFL to stretch its regular season by two games. He twice called the decision a “fait accompli” during his weekly radio show Monday night. “I think that the owners, and principally the commissioner, have decided that it’s the way to go, and so the debate, such as it was, is over,” Polian said. “I’ve heard recently, and I’m sorry that this didn’t get more coverage earlier, some really, really interesting commentary on it. … I wish some of that dialogue had taken place earlier.” Officially, nothing has changed. League owners and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell have expressed support for cutting the preseason schedule from four games to two and expanding the regular-season schedule from 16 to 18. But the format change hasn’t been approved by either the owners or the NFL Players Association. Polian believes that is just a formality although the two sides are trying to work out a new collective bargaining agreement before the current deal expires in March. A caller asked Polian how close the league was to expanding to 18 games and how the Colts would respond to fewer preseason games, trimming the number of opportunities players would have to win roster spots. Polian said: “The short answer is that it’s a fait accompli, I’m afraid, and we’re going to have to find ways to get those evaluative experiences. We’re not going to sit back and say, ’Oh oh, 18 games. Now we’re going to become a veteran team.’ That’s not going to work. And it’s not the way we want to play.”

I think Joe still needs some work, sure 3 TD passes look good but he has a hard time facing a zone but he started to get it today a few time. Have to give it to the Browns, they played a good game at the line, both of their lines were in control a lot in this game. Still do not like the calls from the refs.

Somebody Please Inform the Ravens Marching Band
ravinmaniac52 replied to vmax's topic in Baltimore Ravens
I thought the whole day was off. It didn't look like a first call doing. The fly-by was late, the halftime show was just bad. What happen to the sound? JO and Q had a great time watching you play but please no mo0re adds, and no "RED ZONE" crap, show me full screen highlights. I really think they missed on this one, this was the home opener and didn't have that feel or show! -
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-ravens-williams OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP)—Cornerback Cary Williams(notes) has been added to the Baltimore Ravens’ roster after serving a two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. Drafted by Tennessee in the seventh round of the 2008 draft, Williams played one game with the Titans in 2008. Last year he played in four games with Tennessee and five with Baltimore. To make room for Williams on the 53-man roster, the Ravens on Wednesday cut safety Ken Hamlin(notes).

Maybe not right now but the kid has to put out. He has missed guys open, under thrown and over thrown the ball. He has missed scores. Yes he is just missing short, but it is still missing. They didn't go out and get Boldin, get Mason back, sign Whosyourmomma and draft these 2 TEs for him to throw short or long, and they didn't sign that other QB for a lot of money for no reason. Joe needs to make plays.

It stinks. I have said before, don't care about getting beat just do not like these guys screw the game up, and they still are. Just like last season when Cry Brady, I want a flag, I want a flag. What the hell, just make that you cant touch the QB anymore, You cant even look at him.

and we had so much to worry about. :-)

I think this is a bigger test for their O Line, they really looked bad last week.
-
all QBs have some kind of a flaw. it has only been one game with having new toys, it will take time to get use to. And I am sure his bell is still ringing after that hit he took on the first play. :-) bet he wont do that again

Jets face the Pats next week, very good chance they could be 0-2. and just looked, go down to play in Miami. I think they made a very big mistakes with the RBs in the off season.

All very true.As I said, Jets have a great D. How many teams out there that kind of a D and play that way?

The Carroll County Times reports Baltimore Ravens ORG Marshall Yanda will start at right tackle tonight against the Jets. The lineup change was prompted by lingering injuries to OT Jared Gaither and OT Oniel Cousins.
