  1. I have no idea, most would probably not want to see anyone from the afcn win. Shayne is probably gone, his sister said something was bugging personally and was distracting him. oh well.
  2. Well if the Bengals can't go, I'd still like the Lombardi to stay in the div. At least it's not the Steelers.
  3. Now you now why I haven't been on here crowing about the playoffs. Hello offseason.
  4. Tearful Chad talks about Chris http://www.wlwt.com/video/21992736/index.html
  5. Didn't know him personally, but still sad. Jokes aside, the man seemed to have begun to turn his life around and then this... Bengals’ Henry dead at 26 Posted: December 17th, 2009 | NFL.com Staff CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry has died, one day after suffering serious injuries upon falling out of the back of a pickup truck in what authorities describe as a domestic dispute with his fiancee. Police say Henry died at 6:36 a.m. Thursday. Henry was 26. Away from the team because of a broken forearm, Henry was rushed to the hospital Wednesday after being found on a residential road. Police say a dispute began at a home about a half-mile away, and Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup truck as his fiancee was driving away from the residence. Police said at some point when she was driving, Henry “came out of the back of the vehicle.” http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/12/17/bengals-henry-dead-at-26/
  6. He is currently on life support after being ejected from the car.
  7. True today, but if something happens and they beat the Chargers the media will speak otherwise. So, while I ignore them, Ill try to get over my Monday loss hang over and wait for next week.
  8. Sigh, I still love the character, but he let me down big time.
  9. Carl has always been my favorite Aqua Teen character and here he tells the Bengals v Vikings game how he sees it... epic. http://video.adultswim.com/carl/carls-pick-bengals-vs-vikings.html?cid=FB1209_CARL
  10. best...week...ever
  11. wheres my broom?
  12. Words can not express my shock. I feel like I did during the last play of the Broncos game.
  13. Early word is Ced is going to be kept out of the Oakland game and LJ is going to play.
  14. Mike and Mike do a segment with Bengals hater Mark Schlereth they call "True or False" where Greenberg reads a statement and Golic and Schlereth say, "True or False" and explain their reasoning. One of the statements was, "The Bengals are the second best team in the AFC...True or False" Golic said "True", which was surprising enough, but basically said it was time to give the Bengals some love. Schlereth predictably said "False", BUT his reasoning was that he wasn't so sure the Bengals weren't the best team in the AFC. He mentioned that he thought they could take the Colts right now.
  15. I doubt we bring in Galloway though. LJ has me a bit nervous though, and not because of his past. I'm nervous because I know Benson maybe a bit skiddish about us bringing in another RB thats used to being a starter given his past relationship with the Bears.
  16. cake-walk?
  17. ...or, first rate teams looking to make first rate moves. Man, you been real bitter this year, man.
  18. Per profootballtalk.com Bengals kick Galloway's tires Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on November 17, 2009 5:35 PM ET Joey Galloway's career may not be over quite yet. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports the Bengals worked out the former Patriot/Buc/Cowboy/Seahawk on Tuesday, in addition to safety Mike Doss and defensive tackle Ed Johnson. The Bengals have replaced Chris Henry from within to this point, but Galloway could be an option down the line if the team feels it needs another vertical threat.
  19. Kansas City reporter's twitter: Looks like LJ is fired up. From his Facebook page: "Gonna gallop all over the Chiefs. Cleat prints on the chests. Mud in the face masks." and Larry Johnson tweeted... RT @ToonIcon: Me and Ocho Cinco!?!? " Come on Son!!!!"
  20. LJ will officially join Bengals on Tuesday morning, agent says Larry Johnson has his second chance. The troubled former Chiefs running back will sign Tuesday morning with the Cincinnati Bengals, Johnson's agent told The Star late Monday night. Peter Schaffer wrote in an e-mail that Johnson's deal would be finalized early Tuesday, a day after Johnson reportedly was in Cincinnati to meet with Bengals coaches. Reports surfaced Monday that Johnson, who was released last week by the Chiefs after 6 ½ seasons, was being courted by the Bengals after running back Cedric Benson suffered a hip injury in Sunday's win against Pittsburgh. http://chiefsblog.kansascity.com/?q=node/1103
  21. Running back Larry Johnson inks deal to join the Cincinnati Bengals By Joe Reedy • jreedy@enquirer.com • November 17, 2009 Larry Johnson is a Bengal after agreeing to terms on a one-year contract with the team this morning. The Bengals still have not made an official announcement since they still have to make a roster move to put Johnson on the 53-man roster. Johnson arrived on Monday night in Cincinnati and met with the coach Marvin Lewis and his staff. Since being released by the Chiefs last Monday, Johnson had talked but the Bengals will be the one to take a chance on the oft-troubled seven-year running back. Lewis spoke with Johnson last Thursday about possibly coming to the team. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Johnson will receive the $4 million still owed by the Chiefs, who had to pick up the salary when he wasn't claimed off waivers, plus the veteran's minimum, which would be $306764.43 for the remaining seven games. Lewis also said on Monday that Johnson would be the fourth running back and that the role of the three backs on the roster would not change. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20091117/SPT02/311170053/1062/SPT/Johnson+officially+a+Bengal

  25. Yes. Scares me though, hoping this means they want 2 bruising backs to spare Benson, and doesn't mean his hip is worse than thought.
