Zimmer flies back into Cincy Wednesday, news at 11

As much as I dislike Ben as a person and QB of divisional foe team, they would be crazy to cut Ben loose, especially if his replacement isn't already in house.

Word swirling around is Vikes would make offer to Zimmer today at 5:45, which has passed so there should be announcement sometime this evening/night or tomorrow morning. Suck azz

The Contra Costa Times' Steve Corkran believes free agent Darren McFadden is "destined" to sign with the Bengals. McFadden turned in career-best numbers under new Bengals OC Hue Jackson in Oakland, and the Bengals may search for an offseason upgrade on BenJarvus Green-Ellis, who is owed $2.5 million in salary and bonuses. Spending on free agents isn't Cincinnati's style under penny-pinching owner Mike Brown, however. McFadden would likely have to settle for a cheap contract to reunite with Hue.

I think Hue wil be a more aggresive OC, but I can't say whether he will be good or not til I see him in action as one. The only thing I can say for sure is the ball will be run alot more.

Looks like the Vikings have Zimmer as number 1 pick for head coach so far. Depending on how much control Zimmer gets he will likely take the job.

Guys like Dan Snyder who want full personnel control and are too close to how the team side runs dont want him because he is a hard nosed old school coach and won't put up with that crap. And quite wishing our Defense to suck! lol

Gruden apparently prefers the Tenn. job, but Washington is apparently going to make an offer that'll be hard to pass up. BTW: Gruden has been to 3 playoff games as an OC and his offense has only scored 2 TDs. #Whybadteamsstaybad

Yeah that's been covered, general consensus is it was taken out of context. Gruden believes'd the Dalton fit his plan better than Kaepernick, and Brown was trying to say he let them take Andy because he values their judgments.

Gotta say... lookin harsh, especially if we're starting over with coordinators.

Gruden is bad only in the sense that we don't have the QB to run his schemes. He needs a QB like Farve, Manning, or Palmer.

Lions, Redskins, Titans and Vikes ask permission to interview OC Jay Gruden Mike Zimmer is confirmed to interview with Vikes but says he has other teams expressing intrest to meet later in the week.

The fumbles can be fixed, its a mental and practice thing if he is going to be running, the INT's are two fold issue. Andy, I am sure, he only looks or can only see a third of the field and locks on to that area and defenders can see that. He is small and I don't think he can see past the line depending on where he is standing. Second, I don't think he can execute all the plays Gruden wants to run, a large part because of the visual issue.

Gruden - he hasn't gotten his NFL feet yet, I also think his play calling is too ambitious for the QB we got, that's way he forgets the run.

Marvin and Andy aren't going anywhere yet. People, especially our own fanbase, quickly forget; as frustrating as this is, these last three seasons is still progress for this franchise.

Ah, I haven't been there in 3 or 4 seasons. Oh well, shows the kind of people going there now.
