Ok good for him. I am a vet and I feel differently. How come the ones that scream freedom of speech are also the ones that have the biggest problem when you use yours. The vet that kneeled to the presidential motorcade holding the flag had the right idea. I fully support that guy. Just about every team is off on tuesdays. Why not band together and go and kneel in front of the White House? They had to know there was going to be backlash from at least 50% of America and know they are feeling that backlash. I promise you the second the owners start losing money these protests will be over.

We are just going to settle on different views here. The flag represents America and everything it stands for including the constitution. Every country in the world has a dark past. The biggest difference is America is the only one to actually say "hey we screwed up". In the grand scheme of slavery America is just a very small percentage. I'm not going to get into the race side of it because I see both sides and as you have already shown most of the time when a white person especially male have an opinion on race we are labeled racist if our thoughts are any different.

Was he born in the USA? I could careless what race, religion, or whatever you are. Many people have died for that flag and it and them deserve that respect. He's protesting something that gives him the right to protest. That makes no sense to me at all. He's got plenty of money why not run off to one of the countries that are soooooo much better than the USA oh wait there isn't one. I don't normally chime in on your conversations but I disagree with this. It seems across the league more and more rookies come in ready to contribute in their first year. Today's NFL is more about speed than knowledge.

Yeah let's give a city that won't support one team another team. I could see if the Rams were selling out every game but by the end of the year the stadium was empty. The people of LA don't care about the NFL and have proven it. If you lose two teams you should never get another one plain and simple.
