cravnravn Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Theres a Wr still out there as a FA that made peanuts last season 575,000. Hes got size and good hands. Austin Collie Quote
vmax Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I knew by the thread title that you found somebody that you want Steve to spend his hard earned money on. Didn't he play on Mexico's Team? Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Isn't that the guy who gets a concussion if you throw the ball too hard to him? 1 Quote
cravnravn Posted May 7, 2013 Author Posted May 7, 2013 He started out with the Colts, Yes hes had concusion issues because of him not being afraid to go across the middle, and get the ball.Last season he only made 565g's Its apparent that the staff isnt impressed with Reed, Streeter, Thompson or Williams, they brought in a FA over the weekend from Notre Dame. If he clears the concussion tests, why not sign him for a minimum contract, 1 Quote
ForceEight Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Because there is absolutely no way that he will clear a concussion test. I'm pretty sure that he will never even play football again at this point. Quote

He needs to go home and lie down. There is no player in the entire league more at risk to be killed by a hit than Collie. And don't get me wrong, because I think he could have been a fantastic receiver. He's just on his way to a really bad place when he gets older. Quote
thesteelhurtin Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Isn't that the guy who gets a concussion if you throw the ball too hard to him?Yeah he is a very good wr but he is one hit away from retirement. Quote

thesteelhurtin Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 After the rookies the Steelers will have like 5.2 million to spend that's more then just a tad. I'm interested in what the Steelers are going to do. Quote

I like this year's Steelers team a lot. Quote
