vmax Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 According to Mike Florio of PBLTTT!.com..... Heading in to the 2013 season, the Bengals are better than very good. The Bengals are becoming one of the elite teams in the NFL.http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/07/22/preseason-power-rankings-no-6-cincinnati-bengals/related/ Quote

papasmurfbell Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 You really should look at the w-l record pre and post Marvin. Quote
Robjr83 Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 79–84 as a head coach. 0-4 in the postseason. He's has 10 years and his biggest accomplishment was losing to the losing to the Texans twice in the wildcard round. Quote

papasmurfbell Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 They are getting better. I think Mike Brown is finally letting football people run things. I belive it was abouyt this time last yr that people were saying how they couldn't make the playoffs 2 yrs in a row. Where is that argument now? Quote

vmax Posted July 25, 2013 Author Posted July 25, 2013 Uh oh.... We just had the first scare of Bengals Training Camp.Bengals receiver A.J. Green was down for a couple minutes after falling awkwardly on his left leg going after a deep ball.He limped a little off the field and is being examined further by the Bengals medical staff inside.http://cincinnati.com/blogs/bengals/2013/07/25/a-j-green-limps-off-field/ Quote
cravnravn Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 (edited) THIS is truly PATHETIC This is the play AJ Green twisted his knee on, look athe practice facility, I swore it was photoshopped, but was told it is not..Those are rocks right along the sidelines..Is Mike Brown out of his mind, millions of dollars worth of product, and his practice field is under a bridge? The Bengals have opted to switch the main practice field from last training camp to the one they'll use for the regular season, so camp's main practice field is the one adjacent to the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge. It is a little tight down near one end zone, and Green brushed up against the tree in a previous period chasing a long ball. But Lewis said the play had nothing to do with the field."We practice here for a year on that field for an entire season. It's got nothing to do with the side of the practice field. It's the way he ended up coming down awkwardly," Lewis said. "We rather they all stay on their feet. I'd rather have an incomplete pass.Camp report: Green OK, but may sit out awhile Edited July 27, 2013 by cravnravn Quote
bearcat7777 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 These preseason polls don't mean much. Two years ago the Bengals were ranked 32. Best team is determined on the field not on paper in preseason. I'm pretty confident that the Bengals will be competitive in the AFCN. Quote
Robjr83 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Its like Rocky 4.... Brown's going to have them train by towing sleds, lifting logs, and chopping firewood. Quote
