Anyone heard the injury status of Bernard Pierce and Deonte Thompson? Type of injury? Prognosis?

Nothing at all anywhere in the media about this.

Harbs said it didn't look serious, and they are not reported as injured, that's about all I've heard....

BP ran off the field with a little limp, he has to learn to dive for the endzone when it's tight coverage...

That could have been bad..

I haven't heard a thing and I'm just as interested as you in finding out what's up.

Just found this...

Pierce did sprain his knee on the touchdown run, but sustained no structural damage, reports Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun. A source also told Wilson that Pierce is expected to miss "a few days."

The Ravens dodged a serious bullet.

You know it, I like the way this guy runs....great burst and break away speed....

I've often wondered why it isn't a penalty to tackle someone after they have already broke the goal line ? A pass block is one thing but a tackle after the fact is a probable injury, in my opinion...

Yes, we dodged a bullet. They should rest B.P. through the entire exhibition season.

Start him nice and fresh for Denver. We will definitely need to count on him until they get this passing game figured out.

More injury updates, Dickson's injury doesnt sound promising.

Tight end Ed Dickson remains out indefinitely with a slightly torn right hamstring.

"You can't rush back those things," Dickson said. "I'm trying my hardest to get back out there. It kills me. I'm hard on myself. I want to get back out there today, but I don't want to go out and hurt the team and be out for weeks during the regular season.

"It's one of those things where you got to look back and see if you did all the right things to prevent the thing. You never know with a muscle pull. You have to make sure that you take care of it so it's not recurring all the weeks in the season. You have to make sure you're on top of those things. I'm pretty sure that we pinpointed it and we're just trying to get it as healthy as we can."

Dickson was noncommittal on whether he can return in time for the Ravens' Sept. 5 regular-season opener against the Denver Broncos.
