vmax Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 1. Just shut Torry Smith down. Blanket him. There are no other playmaking threats. The running game is no threat...nothing to worry about....you don't have to use extra players to defend that. 2. Don't let any receivers get behind you. The Ravens offense can't drive the length of the field, so just take the big play away.
ravinmaniac52 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 What about Down Town Marlon Brown? Did you see Dickson caught all 3 passes today? They need some guys crossing the field, add some mis-director.Also, hey Joe, when the field is that open in front of you, RUN!
vmax Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 I love Marlon, but 1 pass for 10 yards ain't hunting. Doss and Thompson were shut out.
ravinmaniac52 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Something they need to work on. Talent is there but something is just not right. Really not happy with the coaching of this team
thundercleetz Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I don't think the receivers are the problem. We have plenty of guys who can make plays. The pass protection is terrible. Joe is clearly not comfortable back there. There is no pocket. Guys are flying free up the middle. There is just not enough time for Joe to go through his progressions. Our line play is the worst I've seen from a Ravens team.
cravnravn Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 The bomb to Jacoby was so under thrown it wasnt funny, Jacoby had the safety beat by 3 steps..
cravnravn Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 We must improve this stat...We had a 14 pt lead entering the 4th quarter, the game is on the line, 1:55 left and we go 3 plays and out and only burned 27 seconds off the clock. 1 first down, and its game over. We give the ball back with 1:28 on the clock
vmax Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 All I know is this is rock bottom. They can't get worse. rm52....I'm with you on the coaching. There is too much talent on this team to perform so poorly. Pees seems to be getting his end together.
GrubberRaven Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 When's the last good OC we had? Like talented OC? That's the most frustrating part.
ravinmaniac52 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 The bomb to Jacoby was so under thrown it wasnt funny, Jacoby had the safety beat by 3 steps..Not taking up for anyone, and yes Joe should have let that ball go a lot sooner, should been a play from the hush to the numbers but keep in mind, the wind was blowing into the blow, a very strong wind. Joe still did a very poor job
ravinmaniac52 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 When's the last good OC we had? Like talented OC? That's the most frustrating part.Who was the OC with the Baltimore Colts in the 70s when Jones was the QB?
