"He was the clear leader from the beginning," coach Mike Pettine said in a press release. "We've maintained all along that if it was close, I would prefer to go with the more experienced player. Brian has done a great job in the meeting rooms and with his teammates on the practice field and in the locker room." vmax Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 the reality is that the Browns' first-team offense has been terrible. So terrible, in fact, that they haven't scored a touchdown all month. That includes preseason games and the team's intra-squad scrimmage.
