vmax Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Both teams will be bringing it hard as their seasons are on the line, but in this Sunday Night Snotknocker, the Kings of Snotknocking will lay a new meaning of Ugly on the Redskins offense. The only way the Skins leave with a "W" is if the Ravens offense commits costly turnovers. So I see a low scoring game, with the Potomac Drainage Basin Indigenous Persons comming out on the low end of the Low Scoring Stick. Real low...like 3-6 points for a nights work. We the fans can't win it, but we sure can help as the 12th man. Let's make Sunday Night... a Night of Hell for the Skins! Now....Let's hear what Kevin Byrne has to say about a little pre game feast they have prepared for the fans... INTRODUCTIONS I’ll admit that our M&T Bank Stadium crowd makes less noise and shows less enthusiasm when we introduce our offense before a game instead of the defense. That’s understandable for a couple of reasons, but the main one is that there is no introduction of a group in the entire NFL that can top our defense with Ray Lewis coming out last. But, we’re starting to see a bigger response for the Ravens’ offense, which will be introduced before the Redskins’ game. That’s cool. It says a lot about the progress we’re making on that side of the ball. Tomorrow night, we’ll send out last Sunday’s hero, Mark Clayton, first. That should get everyone fired up. We’ll end with Joe Flacco and Pro Bowlers Todd Heap and Derrick Mason. Should be electric. Can’t wait. Let’s beat those Washingtonians tomorrow. Let’s show the country what Ravens fans are all about. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/News/Articl...f_the_Year.aspx No Problem Kevin!!!!!!! ps..."It's going to be cold. Wear you're fur lined jock straps...on your heads!!! It will creep them out!!!!!" Quote
thundercleetz Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 The Skins secondary is good, but they are overagressive and let up the big play. I think Flacco is going to be able to make some big plays on a creeping secondary trying to stop the run. Throw in the fact that the Skins sttruggle to get a pass rush, and I see another multiple TD game for Flacco. Ravens in a *** I'm stupid for thinking this game is easy ***. Quote

It seems Joe agrees with you cleetz... "They’re a team that likes to load the box and put as many people as they can down in there and man everybody up on the outside," Flacco said. "They feel like they can do that, and we feel like we’re going to be able to take advantage of that with our receivers. We’ll see." Quote
varaven45 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 My 2 cents - This game is a coin toss and boils down to who wins the TO battle and capitilizes on the other teams errors. Either way, I'll be at the game and screaming at the top of my lungs ! GO RAVENS! Quote
nattybohfiend Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I don't know. I always get nervous when I see fellow fans with their heads in the clouds. Quote
vmax Posted December 7, 2008 Author Posted December 7, 2008 Oh Yea! "It’s going to be a playoff type atmosphere," Mason said. "Anyone who says different will be just trying to fool you guys. They’ve got a lot on the line, and we do also because we’re still in the hunt for a place in the playoffs. "So, we’re going to go out there and play as if our football lives depend on it. It’s going to be a playoff type atmosphere. If it’s not, a lot of people will be disappointed." Quote
vmax Posted December 7, 2008 Author Posted December 7, 2008 I just saw 2 ravens land in my tree in the backyard...ok...so they might be humongous crows...let me stretch the truth a little please! It's a sign from God I tell you! Ravens Victory! And yes nattyboh...I get nervous before every Ravens game wether they are playing slappies or beasts and I'm nervous about this one. I just know in my 'Bichiotti gut' that the Ravens and fans will show up tonight. Quote
RavensNest8483 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I don't know why everyone is so confident in flacco being able to beat the secondary deep. Clayton made two great catches last week and if not that game was totally different. Will he do this on a consistent basis? He hasn't so far in his nfl career. I'm worried that the redskins wrs are going to jump those curl routes that we always run with mason. Those are all about timing and if timing is off that could spell trouble. Hopefully we will be able to run the ball tonight. I'm just very nervous about this game: primetime, playoffs hang in the balance for BOTH teams. GO RAVENS!! Quote
thundercleetz Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I am PUMPED UP! About an hour left! Quote
Spen Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 I cannot wait, I have a good feeling about this game. That may not be a good thing though, I might be a jinx! Quote
