oldno82 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 And the Ravens close it out with a guy who just might surprise everyone: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000479099/article/brandt-georgia-techs-darren-waller-could-be-2015-draft-steal
vmax Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Nice find oldno. Let's wish him more luck than Clarence Moore
tsylvester Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Love this kid's potential, he might be tne next Clarence Moore, or the next Hermon Moore; sky is the limit, it all hinges on how well he adjusts to the coaching; boy does he have the measurables and the hands, he can catch anything with in a 2 mile radius...
oldno82 Posted May 2, 2015 Author Posted May 2, 2015 Really can't explain it, but I've got a good feeling about him. Clarence Moore???? NOooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
thundercleetz Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 This is a Trestman pick! Big receiver with good ball skills. Could be our version of Marquess Wilson for the Bears or Chris Matthews of the Seahawks.
papasmurfbell Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Nice find oldno. Let's wish him more luck than Clarence MooreClarence was tall but had no thickness. This kid is thick as hell. You also know he can block.
Robjr83 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Streeter and Mallette looked promising too. I try not to get too hyped about late round picks.
TBird Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Streeter and Mellette weren't developed enough for the pros. Oztook a chance and flopped like so many WRs he drafted and likeso many other GMs. Ozzie had so many picks and such few needshe could draft guys like this, the Georgia Tech guy and the Delaware guy. But Ravens liked Walker and he was on their board as early as the3rd round. Their assistant coach really loved him and told himthat he would push the Ravens to sign him.
thundercleetz Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Streeter and Mallette didn't have the bulk Waller has. Lots of tall, skinny fast receivers. With Waller's height and bulk? Not so much. Not saying that makes him more likely to succeed, just more intriguing of a prospect.
