vmax Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 There comes a point in time when you just have to surrender and admit that you don't have it anymore.... Schaub's struggles continue: A day after John Harbaugh passionately defended the play of Matt Schaub, the veteran backup quarterback endured another difficult morning. Schaub threw interceptions to Jackson and Vaughn and also struggled on a couple of quarterback-center exchanges. By practice's end, Schaub wore a look of frustration. http://www.carrollcountytimes.com/bal-ravens-front-seven-dominates-fiery-training-camp-practice-20150806-story.html Watch,,,Renner will beat him out on the depth chart. It's that point in time for the Ravens too. Get somebody else, now, while there's time for them to learn the offense. Quote
TBird Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 They should have kept Wenning and cut Schaub. I never liked this signing. Ravens always had his number when he was young. Remember the game out thereand Houston tied it up in regulation and everyone here is blowing his wad.Not long into OT, Schaub throws a TD to the wrong team. Ravens win. Jen Royale on the radio couldn't understand why the callers were so pissed after the win.Wally had to explain it to her. She didn't have a clue-lol. Quote
rastaman831226 Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Gotta say I told you so. Shaub is the same shot QB he was in Texas and Oakland. Keeping and paying Tyrod woulda been the best option. Whatever happened to Wenning? Quote

tsylvester Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Aaron Rogers threw five pics the other day in practice............ Quote
varaven45 Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Actually, regardless of how well or poorly Schaub plays this or next year, we should have drafted a guy for Flacco and Co to groom for the future. Even if he were to hold a clipboard for a few years, at least a future arm behind Joe. We've been damn lucky with Joe and one day it's going to bite us in the arses- hopeful not this year. Quote

We shoulda kept Taylor. Quote
varaven45 Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 That was last year. This year and beyond. Quote
rastaman831226 Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 That was last year. This year and beyond.Well, this might be the year that Flacco gets injured; so who takes over now? Shaub? We shoulda kept Taylor - more upside and cheaper than Shaub. Quote
