oldno82 Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 A good reason to be wary of the big money free agents: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-former-ravens-dot-list-of-nfls-worst-contracts-20160217-story.html Quote
vmax Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Every team has a "Dennis Pita deal"....it's a cap killer. Leon Searcy. Not as big money, but that hurt. Looks like Torry misses Joe. Quote

Yes, he is on a long list of players who chased the money, only to regret it. He like many pundits, thought Kap was the real deal, was about to take off. Now, it appears there is going to be a qb rotation for the next few years and lots of losing. Quote
tsylvester Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Rams released Chris Long and James Laurinaitis. Both excellent players. Laurinaitis at 29 going on 30 later in the year can still play. Long, great edge rusher, doesn't hold the edge that well, but he too would be a great pick up. Price, as always, would be key. Quote

oldno82 Posted February 20, 2016 Author Posted February 20, 2016 With our cap mess they'd have to settle for a bag of chips and a coke to play here. Quote
