tsylvester Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Rex, grasping at strawsHe was told by the owners, who like the new oc (and plan to have him take Rex's job) to fire the Roman. Rex will follow soon and maybe end up back here? Quote

tsylvester Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Why? he's lost it and with Rex's ego I don't know if he would step back into a coordinator job He hasn't lost it, he never had head coach abilities. After he loses this one, no one will hire him to be a head coach, but he is still a great defensive coordinator, certainly better than Pees. Quote
cravnravn Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 again, why would he want to step backwards in the coaching tree? Billick didn't do it. Once these guys get a head coaching gig, they ain't stepping back in the ranks. Quote
ravinmaniac52 Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 There have been coaches that have taken the step back. Should be the Ray Lewis coaching tree. Not sure if Rex would want to come back here he wasn't very happy with not getting the job here Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Leslie Frazier. Kubiak. Caldwell. All three were head coached, than took assistant positions. Quote
cravnravn Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Leslie Frazier. Kubiak. Caldwell. All three were head coached, than took assistant positions. you would actually think Rex would be part of that?...besides only one that did anything was kubes Quote
GrubberRaven Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 I don't want Rex back...I'm just saying it's not out of the realm of possibility... Quote
Robjr83 Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Harbs wont fire Pees, and I doubt they'd want Rex back. The only former guy I'd want back would be Pags...in a heartbeat Quote
