It isn't saying much, but the Ravens are in 1st place of the AFC North.

It may not last long because a winless team comes to town Thursday night and you know how gracious they are to those who are down on their luck.

But...for today... :gorave:

After shaking my head at all the 8-8 teams or worse that won their division and made the playoffs, I have to say it's nice to have a moment's hope.... and dream that a win Thursday night puts them at 5-4. Then dream some more about how they can eek out 4-5 wins over the final stretch.

A sweep of the Bengals could give them the division...a sweep of a team they seem unable to beat. The odds of this happening are not good, I guess real bad if you take a hard look at the Ravens,.... but this isn't the same Bengals.

hehehee...Stealer Fans....

It was nice to enjoy a Sunday after a Ravens win.

Positives: D looked sharp for most of the game. Once again the ability to pressure disappears down the stretch when we needed it most save that huge sack late. Special teams was solid outside of Hester making some questionable do I catch do I not?

Negatives: Flacco looks just as indecisive and his mechanics are still terrible. Throwing across your body while running backwards? C'mon man. We again abandoned the run this time against a team that hasn't been able to stop the run.

I think if Ben sits the steelers win that game with jones. He gave them nothing for 3.5 qtrs

After watching the Alabama/LSU game Saturday night and seeing Old School football it was refreshing to watch the Ravens D and Special Teams.

The D was awesome.....the secondary's coverage was excellent....

The Ravens got their 14th lifetime win in 21 post-bye games on the strength of a defense that broke up eight Ben Roethlisberger passes, three quarterback hits and two sacks. It also stifled the Steelers run game to the tune of 36 yards on 18 carries, with no run getting more than 13 yards.

Pittsburgh did not convert a third-down play -- for that matter, it didn't even cross its own 45-yard line -- until under 11 minutes remained in the game. Moreover, to that point in the game, it only had two first downs....https://www.pressboxonline.com/2016/11/06/ravens-defense-awakens-after-bye-defeats-pittsburgh-21-14
