vmax
Our government it now just one gang of spiritually unconscious whores of industry..... The installation of Scott Pruitt, who sued the agency he intends to lead more than a dozen times as Oklahoma attorney general, reinforces expectations on both sides of the political divide that America will cede its position as a leader in the global fight on climate change. ...The nomination of Pruitt, who sued the EPA more than a dozen times on behalf of his oil-producing state and has doubted the science of climate change, upset many former and current agency employees.Nearly 800 former EPA staff urged the Senate to reject Pruitt in a letter this week, saying he had "shown no interest in enforcing environmental laws." Earlier this month, about 30 current employees at an EPA regional office in Chicago joined a protest against Pruitt held by green groups.Trump is likely to issue executive orders as soon as next week to reshape the EPA, sources said. The Republican president has promised to kill Obama's Clean Power Plan, currently held up in the courts, that aims to slash carbon emissions from coal and natural gas fired power plants.Trump also wants to give states more authority over environmental issues by striking down federal regulations on drilling technologies and getting rid of an Obama rule that sought to clarify the EPA's jurisdiction over streams and rivers...http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/climate-doubter-pruitt-takes-epa-reins-as-trump-targets-regulations/ar-AAn2BDs?li=BBnb7Kz We have to get these people out....Now.They are running things the same as the thugs who ran Atlantic City in Boardwalk Empire. vmax
One positive from all of this is that the Trump move toward Dictatorship and a police state is helping to unite people. Not just in this country, but in many countries throughout the world....and us with them and them with us.Because there is a lot at stake for all people.People are taking a stand against what he stands for and his movement backward to a society, culture and government like post civil war America. The days of time, distance and humans living in isolation are long gone. As one human race, little by little, we are discovering that we need each other and there are values and a common vision for our future together that we need to move forward on. Some of this vision is being defined by recognizing what we don't want and joining together in protest. This is simply a small step, because there is so much hatred, racism, violence, greed and disregard for life existing on this planet. But with awareness comes change. The fight stems from the energy company's plan to build two nuclear reactors at the controversial Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Station south of Miami by roughly 2030. The towers might not be operational for a decade or two, but that doesn't mean the public should stop paying attention to them. Shit...that whole area will be under water by then. Under the sea.The stupidity here is astronomical.

vmax
This man's unconscious..... President Trump will take the most significant step yet in obliterating his predecessor’s environmental record Tuesday, instructing federal regulators to rewrite key rules curbing U.S. carbon emissions. The sweeping executive order also seeks to lift a moratorium on federal coal leasing and remove the requirement that federal officials consider the impact of climate change when making decisions. The order sends an unmistakable signal that just as President Barack Obama sought to weave climate considerations into every aspect of the federal government, Trump is hoping to rip that approach out by its roots.........http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-moves-decisively-to-wipe-out-obama%E2%80%99s-climate-change-record/ar-BByWuRe?li=BBnbcA1

vmax
Really...he's a threat to National Security...to the future of America....to World security. 1. "It’s a senseless betrayal of our national interests."...The consequences of climate change have reverberated in recent years — from floods to wildfires to drought, said economist Rachel Cleetus of the Union of Concerned Scientists. Without protections from the Clean Power plan, it will only get worse, she said. "American families are seeing the real impacts of climate change on their daily lives. ... The science is clear."....http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2017/03/28/energy-plan-rollback-more-illnesses-disasters-possible-experts-say/99724880/ Vickie Patton, general counsel at EDF, says the rollback is a concern on many levels. "If the dangerous attack on these clean air safeguards is successful, it would mean more pollution and more disease for our families, and higher costs on our electricity bills as we miss vital opportunities for cleaner more efficient and more affordable electricity," she said.
