First off, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year..

Tomorrow is going to be a great day. We enter the playoffs with a win. What Joe will show up? Miami Joe? or New England joe? Who knows, but I'd lover to see the Miami Joe show up .

Just like last season we can point to numerous games where we woulda,coulda,shoulda,won..but we didnt, I'm sure we will. But tomorrow afternoon, it's for our playoff lives.

They have to run it.

Everybody is saying they can't.

The Ravens don't know that they can't.

Merry Christmas!

Happy Holidays!

5. Game-time food-and-drink recommendations via writer/spaceman Conor Orr: You've done it. Presents are strewn across the floor. Your dog is quietly chewing on wrapping paper. Everyone you love pretended to enjoy the SELF-STIRRING COFFEE MUGS you purchased them on Amazon a day before Christmas. Success. Now, it is time to focus your savvy in the kitchen in preparation for this most magnanimous football game. Open the refrigerator and remove everything that was created for dinner the night before. Turkey and ham. Hopefully some leftover potatoes. Dig deeper and find a little milk. In the cupboard, you have some vegetable oil. You are making a hash. Real professionals will gussy this up with fried Brussels sprouts and Goose Jowl bacon -- and you might, too -- but it's snowing outside and you have a headache. So mix all those ingredients together, blast it in an iron skillet and tell everyone THIS IS WHAT THEY MAKE ON CHOPPED. Pair it with a Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout, a 9 percent ABV that includes roughly one shot of espresso per every 22 oz. you consume. Drink two -- you still have one more game to watch...http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000761386/article/what-to-watch-for-in-sundays-christmas-day-games

A Visit From St. Nicholas
(with apologies to Clement Clarke Moore)

'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the Palace
The Ravens approached the homestretch with due malice
Two Lombardis both sat by the fireplace with care
With the hopes that a third one would soon join them there

The fans were quite restless, not snug in their beds
With fantasy lineups pervading their heads
When a presence befell them, so lively and quick
They knew right away that it must be St. Nick

"Santa!" they cried. "There's just two games left!
Can the Ravens prevail with their speed and their heft?
Can they get two more wins and become playoff-bound?
Or will they collapse, to be lost and not found?

"Will they get a big lead and bring it on home?
Will our guys be ferocious? Their mouths, will they foam?
Or will they give up a big fourth-quarter lead?
Or get blown out early, on the field will they bleed?

"And Santa, we need help, but not just from you.
We need a big margin by half number two.
We sure need to take those ol' Steelers down
So that joy and merriment will run through our town.

"Santa, it's been such an up-and-down year
Either we've been quite happy, or we've cried in our beer
Three wins, then four losses, then a climb to the top
A bubble so fragile, so soon will it pop?

"We fans feel like we've been through the wringer
A few hamstring woes, a concussion, a stinger
Some players look like they've been hit by a car
Once again, we know well the two letters I-R."

The jolly old man looked tired and sore
This was a query he'd not heard before
Toys he could handle, belief he could sell
But he wasn't as conversant about the NFL

He said, "I can't fathom, this wish that you seek
Your spirit is willing, but mine is so weak
Football, you see, is beyond my control
It must stay unfettered until the big Bowl."

The fans were all downcast, but they understood
The Ravens would have to do best that they could
It's the team that must cook a big holiday meal:
A plate full of points in the City of Steel.

So they'll open their presents and drink down some beer
They'll gather on Sunday for some gridiron cheer
They'll spend Christmas Day looking up at the screen
Hoping for TDs from Marty, and a few sacks from Dean

They'll face-paint and party, 'cause that's what you do
When hearts are bright purple and faces bright blue
They'll see Sizzle sack, they'll see West run right through
They'll see Tucker kick, or they might go for two

The team needs no help, they know the way how
They've surely been told what's important right now
The string will play out, but before Sunday's fight,
We say, "Happy Festivus, and to all a good night!" :gorave:

Merry Christmas everybody!

I think we'll know by halftime how this game is going to turn out. If we're ahead or tied it'll be a nailbiter all the way. If we're behind, I think we'll get blown out.
