Nice smorgasbord....

The Baltimore Ravens are taking a closer look at UCLA pass-rusher Takkarist McKinley and his surgically repaired right shoulder....McKinley is known for his explosive first step, terrific speed (4.59 in the 40-yard dash), long arms (34 3/4 inches) and a high motor. Last season, he recorded career-highs in tackles (61), tackles for loss (18), sacks (10) and forced fumbles (three)...http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/34929/ucla-pass-rusher-takkarist-mckinley-appears-on-ravens-radar

One of the fast-rising prospects in this year's draft, Reddick told the NFL Network he has a pre-draft visit scheduled with the Ravens, who have the No. 16 overall pick in the draft.....

Either one works for Baltimore after outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil was cut and inside linebacker Zach Orr retired. Reddick is a special athlete who can line up all over the field and be just as effective blitzing as dropping into coverage.

The Ravens are looking for playmakers on both sides of the ball, and Reddick was a difference-maker. He finished third in the nation with 22.5 tackles for loss and led Temple with 10.5 sacks....http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/34912/ravens-set-up-visit-with-versatile-first-round-prospect-haason-reddick

Clemson's Mike Williams told the NFL Network he has a pre-draft visit with the Ravens. This comes two weeks after Washington's John Ross said he also will meet with Baltimore, which has the No. 16 overall pick...

It's unknown whether Williams will last until the middle of the first round. He's been linked heavily to the Buffalo Bills, who lost wide receivers Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin in free agency, at the No. 10 pick.

Williams said he has visits also scheduled with the Cleveland Browns (Nos. 1 and 12 picks) and Tennessee Titans (Nos. 5 and 18). He already met with the Cincinnati Bengals (No. 9) and Philadelphia Eagles (No. 14) at the NFL combine....http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/34895/ravens-continue-to-do-homework-on-receivers-with-mike-williams-visit

We all know about Williams. I seriously doubt that he'll be there for the Ravens pick. He's just too damn awesome.

The Baltimore Ravens will bring in one of the most talented and risky pass-rush prospects of this year's draft.

Alabama's Tim Williams is scheduled for a pre-draft visit with the Ravens this week, according to Albert Breer of the MMQB. Williams is considered one of the most gifted prospects at getting to the quarterback, but his off-the-field issues could cause him to slip into the second round....

Williams is a dangerous pass-rusher because of his explosive burst and powerful hands. He can dip his shoulders to cut past offensive tackles on the outside or use a spin move to elude them.

Not being an every-down player might further hurt his stock. He only made 48 tackles in his last two seasons at Alabama, although 28.5 of those were for losses.

Williams' value is he's an elite talent when it comes to harassing quarterbacks. He could turn out to be the best pure pass-rusher in this draft outside of Myles Garrett....http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/34963/ravens-bring-in-red-flag-pass-rusher-tim-williams-for-a-pre-draft-visit

That's just a few.

No to Tim Will!iams, tired of Bama failures

Thinking along similar lines.

What does he do when he has the money?

Williams was arrested for a misdemeanor gun charge in September, and he acknowledged that he has failed multiple drug tests. This could make for a tricky evaluation for a player who had 19.5 sacks over the last two seasons.

Free Agent visits too....

In need of an upgrade along their offensive line, the Baltimore Ravens brought in former New York Jets center Nick Mangold for a free-agent visit this week, according to a source.

Mangold, a seven-time Pro Bowl player, arrived in Baltimore late Tuesday afternoon and will remain in town through Wednesday, the source added. He is considered the top center available in free agency.

The Ravens traded three-year starting center Jeremy Zuttah to the 49ers this offseason, leaving them with John Urschel and Ryan Jensen in the middle of line. Mangold would represent an upgrade, especially in terms of experience. He has made 164 career starts, hasn't allowed a sack in 33 straight games and has been penalized only five times in the past four seasons, according to Pro Football Focus. Meanwhile, Urschel and Jensen have combined for seven starts at center.....http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/34990/nick-mangold-takes-free-agent-visit-to-baltimore-ravens

If he's healthy and they think he can hold up for the season, or most of it, then sign him.
