On a serious note I have to ask was trading the pick really worth it? Quote
tsylvester Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Well that is a shocker. Wallen has great hands, a slot receiver, did mister glass get broken again? How bad was Bergstrom that this terrible line let him go? Maybe they get the draft pick back based on a lack of playing time? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted October 19, 2017 Author Posted October 19, 2017 Some roster changes today, Oct 19, per Jeff Zrebiec. Ravens announce Griff Whalen signing. They cut OL Tony Bergstrom to make room. They also cut CB Sheldon Price from IR. The Ravens traded a conditional draft pick for Bergstrom after preseason. Bergstrom played 32 snaps on offense and 13 on STs.Ravens now have just one healthy reserve OL (Luke Bowanko) after releasing Tony Bergstrom. Matt Skura remains out w/knee injury. That tells me Ravens will add an OL before Sunday. They have 3 on practice squad: Arie Kouandjio, Dieugot Joseph, Marquice Shakir. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Camp, Whalen and Moore were the only active receivers today... Quote

That is a very short-handed group heading into Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. How can a team be running out of OL and WRs for practice? Quote
tsylvester Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Practice!?! We talk'n bout PRACTICE!.! Quote
Spen Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 They need oline! Flacco neecs 12-15 seconds to read the defense before he gets rid of the ball. Sometimes to the middle of the field with time running down and no time outs. Quote
