vmax Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 Those are HOF numbers but he's done it quietly so in todays world it might not be enough. He's been a chain mover his whole career. Now if he gets a ring.... Quote
colincac Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 1 Big game in a Super Bowl win gets Mason into the Hall of Fame and he can retire a hero. If this guy isn't going all out this year I don't know who is. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I think he is but they can't get Chris Carter, Andre Reed, Tim Brown, and Shannon at TE are all guys who stand in his way. Quote
yagersports Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I think he is but they can't get Chris Carter, Andre Reed, Tim Brown, and Shannon at TE are all guys who stand in his way. Do you mean those guys can't get in? If that's the case, wow! I'm not an expert on who is and isn't in the hall of fame or what it takes to get into the hall of fame. I would have to say though, the afore mentioned players with maybe the exception of Shannon are all from a totally differnet era, wouldn't Mason be going against the likes of Holt, Harrison, and Ward? geo Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I think he is but they can't get Chris Carter, Andre Reed, Tim Brown, and Shannon at TE are all guys who stand in his way. And next wawe.. Moss, Ward, Johnson, Owens, Harrison, Wayne, Holt, Steve Smith Carolina... And now Fitz and Andre Johnson. Mason is not going to make it, two Probowls, only one PB as a WR, this is not the formula of a HOF candidate. Quote
REEDPIXOFF Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 Mase may have the numbers but he's never been an elite receiver. Belongs in the Hall of Very Good. Quote
