GrubberRaven Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Who has seen it? Best Marvel movie thus far. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 I will wait til week 2 at least. I hate full fanboy movies. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 That was a huge haul this weekend. Also super impressed Black Panther is #5 after 11 weeks in the theaters. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted May 1, 2018 Author Posted May 1, 2018 New trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp dropped and after seeing Infinity War, was a bit let down. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 No way Ant-Man and Wasp would live up to this. This is another solid chip in the Marvel run. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted May 2, 2018 Author Posted May 2, 2018 I think the Ant-Man sequel will be fun, just not 'thrilling' Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 I think the Ant-Man sequel will be fun, just not 'thrilling'Exactly. Also that fight scene with wasp in the vehicle is pretty impressive. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Saw it last night. It is so audacious. Don't want to spoil anything but what was done in that first scene surprised the hell out of me. It was not constructed like I figured it would be at all. Loved it. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted May 3, 2018 Author Posted May 3, 2018 Yeah...set the precedence for the rest of the film... Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Spoiler I have wondered if they killed Peter bc Sony was trying to be a pain in the ass. Basically try us and Peter dies and good luck bringing him back again. Quote
deeshopper Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 OK. Just got back from seeing it. What's the symbol at the end? Quote
deeshopper Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Nevermind. It's Captain Marvel. Don't care about her. As long as Thor lives. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Hey Capt Marvel is important. She is suppose to bet the strongest hero in the MCU. I also expect Adam Warlock to be in next yrs movie. Quote
GrubberRaven Posted May 4, 2018 Author Posted May 4, 2018 Warlock will be in Guardians 3, from what I undestand. Mar-vell aka Jude Law, will also be in Captain Marvel Quote
deeshopper Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 I can't keep up. I'm probably done after part two. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Adam Warlock is integral to beating Thanos. You can never be done. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 http://www.didthanoskill.me Were you killed by Thanos? click to find out. I was. Quote
deeshopper Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 I was killed. Didn't like the answer so I tried again in another browser. I was spared. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 But it is so organic to just blow away like ash. Quote
Spen Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 The best part of Ant Man is Luis. lol.Pena is the best part of numerous movies he is in.... Quote
papasmurfbell Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Pena is a very good actor. I think Crash is the first thing I noticed him in. I am very happy he has had a busy career. BTW I never would have imagined him as special forces before 12 Strong. Quote
RavenMad Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Loved Infinity War. Amazing ending. Not sure about Adam Warlock being important for #2. He was originally created from the Soul stone I think which isn't the case in the MCU at least not what we saw at the end of GOTG2. I think it is more likely he will be important for GOTG3. I think Tony Stark is the important character for #2. I think that is why Dr. Strange saved him. Something to do with the 1 in a 14.5million chance the Avengers win. Quote
