Jeremy Maclin: $2.5 million

Dennis Pitta: $2.2 million

Austin Howard: $2 million

Danny Woodhead: $1.5 million

Lardarius Webb: $800,000

Jeremy Zuttah: $100,000

 

This is good news for a change. Not to many players and not a ton of dead money this yr. I can't remember when it was this small.

The Pitta contract is so frustrating.

Like I said every post. How is Pitta's deal frustrating? He took a giant pay cut before he blew out his hip again. That should be a much larger dead money problem now.

Pitta's production was great and was paid accordingly, then his health went to hell. While yes, he did take the pay cut, the amount of money made was not in correlation with recent production.

This gives Baltimore an additional $2.5 million in cap space in 2017 and 2018.

I guess you would rather the dead money be 2.5 mil more.

2.5 in cap space yes, but 2.2 in dead money, they signed a player with a bad hip, an injury that most if not all never come back from.

 

They should have cut their loses and they would have $4 mil more in cap space this year....
