oldno82 Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 Well, that time of year has finally got here. Off another disappointing season and a long offseason, training camp 2018 starts when rookies and quarterbacks report Wednesday. There are so many questions to be answered but now gradually we'll be able to see if: this year's receivers are better than last year's, the offense has learned to make itself more of a threat with the passing game, whether the excitement level of the offense has improved, has the coaching got any better? While we won't know the complete answers until the season gets underway, we can begin to have some conversations at last about what is happening on the field instead of rehashing the pitiful place this team has been stuck in. I'm really interested to see how things start to pan out. And let's hope we can keep the injury bug to a minimum. Quote
JPPT1974 Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 Just hope that they can succeed. It is make or break for Joe Flacco. Drafting Lamar Jackson is a wake up call to the former MVP. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 1 I don't think he cares. 2 If he cares I don't think he can do much about it. Quote
vmax Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 Injuries are my biggest concern with almost 2 months of camp/preseason time before opening day.And will all this extra work leave them worn out and flat footed in December? This roster has the most players that I know the least about....since forever. Who steps forward out of the pack will be exciting to see.I want to see "Ravens." Not check cashers. Quote
Tornado700 Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 If the defense stays the same, special teams plays the same, and the offense improves, we'll be looking at a playoff team this year. One or two on the offense have to step up and make themselves known this year. Quote
