So do we see Lamar make those outside the number throws, 10-15 yards down field? Even 8 yards would be nice... Will Brown play at all? I would keep him out, bad feet are nothing to play around with...

Lamar usually passes inside the numbers but I did see him make 2 nice intermediate throws outside of them. And, yes, I wouldn't play Brown yet either. Well, if they really think he's ready, maybe one series...

Boykin looks he will get good YAC. He did have a drop later.

Well , McSorely looks like a real viable backup. Granted both teams played their back ups for most of the game. Even a good showing by all, not any serious injuries.

 

Justice Hill maybe fast, but he is not quick nor elusive, I am not very impressed nor was I when they drafted him.

They had some injuries on the offensive line, felt he had a good showing in the joint practices... Meh

They have to get trace on the roster. He has shown to much to slide through waivers.

 

Ok. I was watching off a Philly broadcast. They didn't say why Lamar was out.

Agree about keeping Trace. He’s got talent and is showing the ability to grow.. Good leadership too though not yet in the same class as Lamar. IMO they have a solid number two in him and maybe an eventual number one if Lamar’s body doesn’t hold up.

If lamar doesn't pan out then they have a very real option as a replacement. If lamar is the man then they have trade bait to help the team long term.

RG3 has missed so much playing time, so much opportunity to work in this offense and with the receivers, that he's #3 on the depth chart.

This 2019 train has left the station and he's walking far behind it.

I doubt that he catches up.

He has to be the #2 behind Lamar. You need experience at that spot. Griffin has the experience to ramp up when his hand is right.

I tend to agree with the McSorley school of thinking on this one...at the very least until RG can show he's up to game speed. Funny how all this has worked out.

What is the minimum IR stay, 6 or 8 weeks?

Its the entire season. A guy can be pulled off but if you are hiding a guy he wont be.

The one where you can pull a guy off IR. They have been doing it for yrs. Ray was pulled off IR in the SB season.

I still think keeping him on active roster is the way to go. It looks like he can win games in a pinch.

I agree. But there are big decisions on those last 3 spots or so. They are very valuable. Harbs has gotten away with just 2 QBs for such a long time.

In any case I'd rather see him on the 53.

Up to 2 players can be pulled off the IR list, but only after being on it for 8 weeks.

 

Also, while on the list they do not count against the 53 roster until or unless they come off.

 

It would, imo, be the best choice for the rookie, he has played well enough to be pulled off of the practice aquad to some teams roster.

 

If they need him before that, they are in big trouble anyway.

 

As Papa said, those last few roster spots are valuable.
