Peeking ahead...

The "Almost Worse Case Senario:

There’s a margin for error, too. Even if the Bengals channel New Year’s Eve 2017 and break the Ravens’ hearts all over again — this time, in Cincinnati — it would not be a death knell. After their setbacks Sunday, another Browns loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers or a Colts flop against the Jacksonville Jaguars would send a 10-win Ravens team through.....The Ravens finally look like a playoff team. After a breakthrough day, the postseason’s a win away. - Baltimore Sun

Worst Case: Ravens lose, Steelers lose and everybody else wins.

We know that won't happen, right?

The Peek Ahead....

At this point, though, a No. 5 seed is more likely than a No. 7 seed. The Ravens would earn the AFC’s top wild-card spot with a win in Cincinnati and a Miami Dolphins loss to the Buffalo Bills next weekend. If they win and Miami beats Buffalo, the Ravens would earn the sixth seed.

After a drama-filled December, the Ravens’ first game of 2021 could be a relatively straightforward affair. It wasn’t long ago that a team decimated by the coronavirus pandemic and injuries had lost its third straight game, the season teetering after a thrice-delayed Dec. 2 rematch with the Steelers. As late as Saturday night, when the Dolphins stunned the Las Vegas Raiders in a last-second win, Ravens fans were test-driving their grief over an 11-win team missing the playoffs altogether — in the first year of an expanded field, no less. :scared:

Now, all the Ravens have to worry about is themselves. They need to do what they did so convincingly Sunday....The Ravens finally look like a playoff team. After a breakthrough day, the postseason’s a win away. - Baltimore Sun

So now, the Ravens can't afford to count their eggs before they hatch.  They have to chop water and carry wood...images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQaOE_xg5cNAOE0oz9vZ3v

I'm not buying in to "the Ravens are the scariest team in the playoffs" or that "Nobody wants to Play the Ravens."

All the playoff teams are scary. And none of them are afraid to play against anybody.

All the playoff teams have very good chances to defeat each other.

So todays peek ahead and questions are: "Can the 2020 Ravens make a run in this years 2020 playoff field?

Are they peaking?

Will they hit the playoffs firing on all cylinders?

Have they learned and grown for the last 2 years early playoff exits?

Yep, cant sleep on Bengals.  If I'm Harbaugh, I'm showing the film of the 2017 game ending dagger that knocked us out and sent Buffalo into the POs.

Yes, I'd let that crappy feeling set in real good and remind them of how these so called weaker teams just need 1 game to wake up - Cincy against Pittsburgh

and Jets victory over the Browns.

Most importantly, Lamar and the offense simply need to taker care of business, play their game, dictate the tempo, have fun and play winning football.

Do that and we will be allright!

This has been put together by Brent from Filmstudy....2020 Quarterback Play | FilmstudyBaltimore. Nice work!  Thank you.

Basically the Ravens will be either a 5th seed or a 6th seed if they take care of business. That means that their 1st playoff game will be against either the Titans or Colts if they finish as a 5 seed. If they finish as a 6th seed they will play either the Steelers or Bills.

Who would you like to see the Ravens play?
