vmax Posted May 12, 2021 Posted May 12, 2021 Love it! 9/13. Monday night. Under the lights. 8:15 pm ESPN and ABC. They should have 4-5 prime time games this year. We'll see after 8 tonight. Quote The NFL provided a sneak preview of its schedule during morning news shows, providing the Week 1 lineup in advance of the full reveal Wednesday night. The regular season will kick off Sept. 9 in Tampa, Florida, where the Buccaneers will open the defense of their Super Bowl LV championship against the Dallas Cowboys. The game should mark the return of Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who missed the final 11 games of 2020 because of a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle. Other notable games announced for Week 1 include quarterback Sam Darnold and the Carolina Panthers hosting his former team, the New York Jets; the Green Bay Packers, who are mired in uncertainty surrounding quarterback Aaron Rodgers, playing at the New Orleans Saints, who will have a new quarterback after Drew Brees' retirement; and the Cleveland Browns traveling to Arrowhead Stadium to face the Kansas City Chiefs...LOSS! .Las Vegas Raiders to host Baltimore Ravens in Monday Night Football opener as part of Week 1 NFL schedule (espn.com) Quote

papasmurfbell Posted May 13, 2021 Author Posted May 13, 2021 Last of the west coast swings done in week 4. Interesting how we have 4 straight home games but only 2 games on the road at a time. Just eyeballing this I think they can pull 4 straight wins. I am seeing 13 wins. I just eyeballed Cle also. I see 14 wins. I am not sure if a lot of teams have these lopsided schedules but I see some early damage being done for Cle and Bmore. Quote
vmax Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 It's an "Iron sharpens Iron" schedule and I love it. Especially a favorable mid season, week 8 bye. They'll need that due to the high level of competition week in and week out. Much of the talk is about the quarterbacks and offenses they will be facing. Well...they will be playing against some very good defenses too. The Rams, Steelers, Dolphins, Colts, Packers and Bears are stingy on points and yards. The Colts and Rams are strong against the rush. 5 Prime Time games = Respect. Fans all over want to see Lamar and the Ravens. They will definitely have to earn their playoff spot. Like all teams, much of that will depend on health. QB health in particular. Nice to have a solid run game with a schedule like this. First glance/little thought/gut feeling Prediction: "I see 11-12 wins for sure." Quote
vmax Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 Hensley says the December schedule is brutal. All Divisional road games are in this month. However...... Quote Bold prediction The Ravens will sweep their December division road trips to Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Cincinnati. How bold is this? The Ravens have gone undefeated on the road in the AFC North only twice (2011 and 2019). But Jackson has shown that he plays his best at the end of the regular season. He has won his past 11 starts in December, producing a league-high total QBR (78.5) and scoring the most total touchdowns (31).......Baltimore Ravens' 2021 schedule: Daunting December will decide division - Baltimore Ravens- ESPN Quote
tsylvester Posted May 13, 2021 Posted May 13, 2021 I can see both 13 wins and the other end with 6 loses, should be interesting.. Quote

Baltimore will start at M&T Bank Stadium on Aug. 14 against the New Orleans Saints, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. It's the Ravens' only home preseason game. Baltimore's second preseason game will be against the Carolina Panthers on Aug. 21, at 7 p.m. at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The Ravens will play their preseason finale against Washington on Aug. 28, at 6 p.m. at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. vmax Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 Last year the Ravens offense was 7th in points scored per game. That's with the team being pretty decimated by Covid for 3 games. The defense was #2 in points surrendered at 18.9 per game. The Rams were #1 at 18.5. Very impressive. Other than wins, those are the 2 most important stats in football as far as I'm concerned. Points scored. Points surrendered. And it looks like the Ravens will be fielding a better team this year. With good health and some luck and a passing offense that improves due to the additions at receiver......they could go all the way. There's not a matchup on their schedule that they don't have a chance to win. Quote
