vmax Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Peter King of SI lists the Ravens at #2 in his fine 15 and says this... 2. Baltimore (1-0). I have a feeling I'll be considering Terrell Suggs one day for Canton -- one of several Ravens we'll have to pass judgment on.http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/peter_king/09/11/week.1/2.html Think Suggs can make it?
cravnravn Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Lets capture the Lombardi in Indy this season, then we'll start talking about Canton..
yagersports Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Suggs is one hell of a football player with a high moter and a passion for the game! I love his intensity!
cravnravn Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Anyone hears Sugg's comments that Im surely will be plastered over ESPN? "I own Ben R's Ass"
varaven45 Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Peter King of SI lists the Ravens at #2 in his fine 15 and says this... Think Suggs can make it? Max, Regarding the # 2 listing, after just 1 game (which translates to 6% of the season), King's a bit generous but really who the hell knows ? In this what have you done for me lately world, I supppose #2 makes sense esp after we just layed a major arse whipping on our arch rivals. It was a helluva statement game and, if kept in the right perspective, could serve as a springboard to a highly successful season. At the same time, its a long, long season. Time to focus on Tennesse this Sunday. I have never thought of Suggs as HOF worthy. Not yet. Maybe after this year he becomes a viable candidate. Until then, I want to see the guy play lights out for another entire season.
OutsideRzAcE Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 If Suggs played everyone like he plays the Steelers he'd be a shoo in for the Hall
colincac Posted September 12, 2011 Posted September 12, 2011 Yeah Suggs really seems to have that 2nd gear for the Steelers and playoffs that if he was able to bring every week....damn.
yagersports Posted September 13, 2011 Posted September 13, 2011 Suggs does bring it every week. Sometimes plays are just ran away from you, and on others he's asked to drop in coverage etc. His one down year where he had 8 sacks I think, the guy was always in coverage.
