GrubberRaven Posted yesterday at 01:27 PM Posted yesterday at 01:27 PM Kid sounds smart and we need someone like that. Is Pees still around this year? Quote
tsylvester Posted yesterday at 02:31 PM Author Posted yesterday at 02:31 PM He is high IQ football player, reads plays well. Whike he struggled a bit last year, a lot of that was the inexperienced db's and safeties he played with, trying to cover for them. He should fit right in well. I do believe Pees will be back again Quote
tsylvester Posted yesterday at 03:04 PM Author Posted yesterday at 03:04 PM https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/eric-decosta-malaki-starks-combine-interview-best-ever General Manager Eric DeCosta has done hundreds, if not thousands, of interviews at the NFL Combine, but not many prospects compared to Malaki Starks. DeCosta said that Starks, who the Ravens took No. 27 overall out of Georgia, was one of the best pre-draft interviews he has ever done. And by the time the Ravens were on the clock, he was Baltimore's "best player by far." "We are happy to take Malaki Starks," DeCosta said. "He's a player that we've seen over the last couple of years, a great football player at a great football program. Wired like a Raven. Great mentality. Probably one of the most impressive interviews we've ever had at the Combine." Quote
oldno82 Posted yesterday at 03:32 PM Posted yesterday at 03:32 PM Because it frees up Hamilton like he was in '23, it's almost like getting 2 players for price of one. Quote
tsylvester Posted yesterday at 04:22 PM Author Posted yesterday at 04:22 PM Washington signed his tender just in time. With Starks, that will make Washington earn his money. Quote
tsylvester Posted yesterday at 05:27 PM Author Posted yesterday at 05:27 PM Starts at 7 tonight, I'll turn the sound down, can't stand that Orgoofsky. They, Espn, have ruined the enjoyment of watching the draft, for me any way. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted yesterday at 06:17 PM Posted yesterday at 06:17 PM As smart as he sounds get him in with ed and ray. If he can figure out by alignment he can get into the weeds and look for the angle of the player or other small details to know even more what’s coming. Quote
tsylvester Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Stillers have no 2nd round pick, if, big if, the Browns don't take Sanders with the 1st pick of the 2nd, I wonder if the Stillers will trade up for him? Who else would draft Sanders if the Browns pass? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago By 46 raiders, saints, and jets could all grab him. Quote
tsylvester Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Raiders would be a good landing spot, half decent team, good cap room, maybe he can learn from Brady Quote
oldno82 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Looks like we're going to lose out on drafting a good Edge player where we're drafting. Some having us taking a CB in round 2. Should we use some of our draft capital to move up in the 2nd to get a good Edge guy? How about Ezeriaku from Boston College? Quote
tsylvester Posted 20 hours ago Author Posted 20 hours ago One never knows how round 2 will go. This is where the meat of this draft is, rounds 2 & 3. If an edge doesnt pan out I expect a dt or an ot, worst case is a trade down Quote
