He is high IQ football player, reads plays well. Whike he struggled a bit last year, a lot of that was the inexperienced db's and safeties he played with, trying to cover for them.

General Manager Eric DeCosta has done hundreds, if not thousands, of interviews at the NFL Combine, but not many prospects compared to Malaki Starks.

DeCosta said that Starks, who the Ravens took No. 27 overall out of Georgia, was one of the best pre-draft interviews he has ever done. And by the time the Ravens were on the clock, he was Baltimore's "best player by far."

"We are happy to take Malaki Starks," DeCosta said. "He's a player that we've seen over the last couple of years, a great football player at a great football program. Wired like a Raven. Great mentality. Probably one of the most impressive interviews we've ever had at the Combine."

Looks like we're going to lose out on drafting a good Edge player where we're drafting. Some having us taking a CB in round 2. Should we use some of our draft capital to move up in the 2nd to get a good Edge guy? How about Ezeriaku from Boston College?

One never knows how round 2 will go. This is where the meat of this draft is, rounds 2 & 3. If an edge doesnt pan out I expect a dt or an ot, worst case is a trade down
