They should have stripped it down and rebuilt. Quote
tsylvester Posted July 13 Posted July 13 They will after this season, one last hurrah. Rogers retires alomg with several other players, Howard takes over they try to get back to Stiller football.... Lots of luck with that Quote
tsylvester Posted July 13 Posted July 13 His record of non losing seasons is a farce, no playoff wins in how many years? Winning games with a few touchdowns, mostly field goals the past couple of years. Yes, I would say if they cant win in the post season, score real points with Roger's, or even with him should I say, Tomlin would have to go Quote
tsylvester Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Green is 1 of 30 2nd round picks not to be signed, and likely to hold out of camp. They all want their contracts guaranteed. Sorry, while you are likely to make the team as a 2nd rounder, you are not a first.. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted July 13 Posted July 13 If I were Tomlin I would want out. The past two gms have screwed him with bad rosters but he still makes chicken salad. With the loss of green I guess passrush is an issue now. If he is out of camp he has zero value to us. Quote

papasmurfbell Posted July 15 Posted July 15 They just assume a better passrush with green out there. If he isn’t passrush is a concern and they need scheme to get guys free like the last couple yrs. Quote
oldno82 Posted July 15 Author Posted July 15 Papa, I think even if he is a good pass rusher, they are still going to need to scheme it. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted July 15 Posted July 15 I think one real guy who can get home can set up others to be free. Quote
oldno82 Posted July 15 Author Posted July 15 Well, it helps for sure but I'm not a big Oweh fan and van Noy can't have much more left in the tank. So, I guess Green is an important cog in the wheel. Maybe more important than I first thought. It'll be interesting to see if he shows up today (rookies report) or if he is going to hold out. Or, hold in. it's pretty bad that two teams caved on the fully guaranteed money deals for 2nd round picks. Quote
tsylvester Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Just read an article in the post about Von Miller. Named 3 teams that showed interest in bringing him in. His agent mentioned the Ravens, though he did not say they were one of the 3 teams. I certainly hope not, 6 sacks last year, none the year before and suspended, though never charged for 4 games because he hit his pregnant baby momma Quote
papasmurfbell Posted July 16 Posted July 16 He is ring chasing. That tank is all but fumes now. If we go that vet route I say clowny. Quote
tsylvester Posted July 16 Posted July 16 Yeah, I agree, Clowney would be better than Miller here. Quote
tsylvester Posted July 17 Posted July 17 To the Comandos, 1 year deal, good.. Niners inked their 2nd round pick, he got most, though not all of his $10 mil contract guaranteed Ravens placed Emery Jones on the non football injury list... Quote
oldno82 Posted July 17 Author Posted July 17 SFO signed their 2nd round pick with partial guaranteed money terms. Quote
oldno82 Posted July 17 Author Posted July 17 Is anything ever easy when it comes to contract negotiations with the Ravens? They still need to re-negotiate Lamar's contract, the elephant in the room. Quote
oldno82 Posted July 17 Author Posted July 17 Here it is, official: https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/mike-green-rookie-contract-ravens-second-round-pick-2025. Good...one last distraction. 1 Quote

However true, who knows, but from the same guy who gave out the Likely numbers Quote
oldno82 Posted July 18 Author Posted July 18 That would be great news. I hope it comes about. Same for Likely. And I’m real glad Green is on board. One less distraction. Quote
