But what type of coach should the team look at? An offensive minded one or defensive?

Experience as a head coach or never been one?

I see Minter's name being mentioned by the talking heads as the odds on favorite to land with the Ravens.

A defensive guy with no head coach experience.

Not a bad choice except, there is that Harbs thing again, this time, Jim...

Minter is a guy Eric knows.   I like Flores as the retread option.  Kubes as the fresh face.

Rumor from the team's website is that Ravens have asked to interview Kubes and Anthony Weaver. Kubiak is my first choice. Weaver has been an assistant coach for a long time and has Ravens experience but his Miami defense has been only mediocre and I'm so tired of mediocrity.

I like Flores too as he has made an extremely successful defense in Minnesota without any elite talent. I'd like to see him get an interview.

Weaver like minter are guys who have been around here.  Let’s bring in our friends.  We have had so much nepo hires around here.  Flores was also right in Miami.

Flores could revitalize the D in one season if he hires the right DC and we draft and/or do free agency successfully. Not that big an 'if' since his forte is defense.

I’m confident in Flores getting the d right.  The issue always was offense.  I’m sure he has talked with McDaniel since they have both been in Miami lately.
