Will they draft players who had no real stats in college? Or who are injured and need a full year to heal up? Or linemen only because they are huge and "nice guys"?

Yeah, I'm so sick of us drafting players like this that never pan out. I feel like we keep bashing our heads against the wall and don't really consider a different approach.

Ozzie still advises, Eric learned from Ozzie. What changed from the drafts aside from losing some key scouts?

Harbs, so with him gone and a fresh new eye to joing Ozzie and Eric, hope springs anew

With a good chunk of players the Ravens need taken early in the 1st, of these 3, who would you choose?

Caleb Banks, dt Florida, huge is an understatement, 6'-6", 330 pounds and long arms.

Cassius Howell, de Texas A&M

Won SEC defensive player of the year this past season with 11.5 sacks. Speed, quickness, power.

Maki Lemon wr USC

Not the biggest and 5'-11" 195, nor the fastest, but this is a big jitter bug of a playmaker. Great hands and big catch radius, electric with the ball in his hands is an understatement

I'd like them all 😁, dammit!

I don't think I could pass on Banks if Mads isn't coming back.

HOLD IT: just found out he missed all but the last 2 games with a foot injury.  I'm sick and tired of us drafting marvelous potential but they missed x many games. I'd have to have a loonnggg, rigorous look at his medical record from more than one doc to draft this guy. If there is the slightest issue of an injury, I'd draft the healthiest of Howell or Lemmon.

They say Howell is too light and might be limited to 3rd down pass rusher in the NFL. Harrumph!

Of the three you named that leaves only Lemon and even he's a little light in weight.

Whoever we get with the 14th overall pick has to be an impact player on day 1.

Im not so worried about Bank's foot, his quickness, size and strength are exactly what the defensive line needs, as youve said, with Mads likely gone.

Howell has a lot of questions to answer, look at Green, same type player, his size has held him back in the NFL, I fear the same for Howell.

Lemon, like him a lot, but he is likely a a slot guy, not a 1st round home run hitter

Ravens get 4 comp picks, now have 10 draft picks

The picks are compensation for the departure of cornerback Brandon Stephens (fifth round), offensive lineman Patrick Mekari (fifth round), cornerback Tre’Davious White (seventh round) and offensive lineman Josh Jones (seventh round).

I think this year they will target certain players, not the "best available" as in the past. Trade up or down to secure said players. Sure, they could draft 10 players, but I think it will be more like 6, maybe 7

Well, now that we have our first rounder, 14th, back, all things are on the table.

I hope they go with my idea, target a player and go get him, by trading up if needed. No more best player available

Yep, they went after a center,Elgton Jenkins, but he signed with the Browns, 2 years, $24 mil, $20 guaranteed😒

A little more on Crosby

The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec, Dianna Russini, and Vic Tafur: "Teams that were interested in trading for Crosby, including the Ravens, had conversations with his surgeon, Neal ElAttrache, and the Raiders' medical staff before making trade offers. The Ravens' doctors — along with multiple independent ones — reviewed Crosby's MRI. They were unified in the belief that Crosby's short-term outlook was positive, but there were concerns about the long-term prognosis of Crosby's knee, per league sources. Baltimore believed the risk was too high given the compensation it was giving up."

I don't think they will go with Bain, his short arms were really short, and they need, now, more beef up the middle with Hendricks in the fold.

Unless they really feel that Green is not going to turn out.

I think are phatty for the middle who can also rushing the passer, there are a few in the draft or someone on the o line

I thought we were hoping for Banks.

A lot of the mocks have us taking Ionne the G from Penn State. How do we feel about that? Too high to draft a guard?

14 is a little high, it depends on how they feel about Bullock & Jones. If they don't feel either or neither is the answer, shoot, better to draft a little higher than not getting the one you really need and want.
