Lot of pre draft buzz about trading Humphrey during the draft. Sure, he has slowed down, had a bad year last season and is turning 30, soon.

However, aside from him, there is a lot of youth in the secondary, safeties & corners. Figure they will draft a couple of corners and even with Hamilton, who is experienced, is still young himself.

30 is old for a runningback, a wide out, but not necessarily for a corner. Hopefully they will rework his deal and he will be willing, since he will likely lose his starting spot. 

He is a great teammate, and would add good, experienced depth this team may need.

He has had a lot of injuries.  That I think is what is starting to hamper him.  I would trade him for sure.

I don't think we would get much in a trade whereas he may still be of use for his leadership and his performance ain't that bad. As the saying goes, you can never have too many corners.

He is still a solid tackler, shoot, use him around the line of scrimmage as they do Hamilton, let him cover tight ends

Well that is a problem they ought to be able to work out. He might take a fair reduction as opposed to being cut. I just don't think there is a viable trade market for him whereas he has some value to us for leadership in the locker room. And, sure, play him closer to the LOS and have him also cover tight ends.

I read or watched somewhere that he has already agreed to a re-structure.

I know they did last year, adding two void years to lower his salary to just over a mil, saving them $13 mil last year. Not sure about this year

I have a lot of faith in the different mindset to coaching.  Harbaugh is gone.  While I didn't have as much fault with his as most, I was fine with his dismissal.  Hell, he's still being quoted as to saying he felt last season was a success...

My biggest problem with him is his thinking he can bring the best out of anyone and, make them better. Whether it was an injured player who had very little success in college but has all of the measurable, or coaches past their prime, or have little to no experience.

It caught up to him last year, no depth, tight cap, poor performance, regression un some cases.

I look forward to seeing how this new coaching staff, works. Good or bad, the change was needed, much like when Billick's time was up

Not just adding void yrs.  Marlon needs to take a haircut.  Two yrs ago he was great.  3 was bad last yr was bad.  There is more bad than good.

His biggest issue now is health, he seems to get nicked up and takes a whole, because of age, takes longer to heal. Last season he was never really healthy.

I would add incentives to get his pay back up if meets them.
