oldno82 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago It's official. Opening up the topic for comments on Minter and his potential staff... Joe Brady being considered for OC along with Kingsbury. I don't know him real well, but Minter seems alright to me given his background: solid defensive oriented coach. I'm a little disappointed that Kline Kubiak didn't get a second interview, though. He was my top choice. Â Quote
tsylvester Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Let's start with his age and the fact he was also, key word, a successful college college defensive coordinator. What does that mean? He can relate to, speak the language these young players need to hear. Couple that with- After guiding the Chargers to top-five defensive rankings in points per game, total yards allowed, passing yards allowed, interceptions (34) and opposing red zone percentage since the start of the 2024 season,Hi bubbly wubbly! Yes, I still have it. I do believe that I will, don't I always?! I love you, your favorite dad And yes, he along with -insert Jim Swartz's name here- would bring the ba-boom back to the Ravens defense and keep it that way. I think Swartz would be a great hire, a true vet of the NFL to help offset any lack of experience Minter may have. Oc, good question, Brady is surely an option right now, but "Lamar and his teammates" want Kingsbury, so bring him in much to the dismay of grub Good hirer right now, I guess time will tell, 3 years we will know for sure. tsylvester Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Well, my drothers is to bring Todd back, but for some reason Lamar doesn’t want to win MVP's any more nor have one of the best offenses in the league; at least not Monken's way. Lamar wants Kliff, go to Cheers and get him. Either it works, which is great or Lamar learns to shut up and play football not gm and quarterback Quote

tsylvester Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago Kliff's offense works, look what he did in Washington, until their golden boy got hurt. Same thing here, Todd's offense worked, real, real well, until 2 things happened. Lamar kept getting hurt and they changed the o line coach. Once the o line failed, no coordinator was going to work his offense well. Under Todd, this offense lead the league in 90+ yard drives. It is a big reason they won so many games, why this offense was one of the best in the league. It took over games, controlled the clock, and wore the defense down greatly so that in the 4th, the Ravens could run the ball with anyone. But yeah, Monken was the issue, not the offensive line coach. Thankfully we have an owner who saw that the offensive line coach was the biggest issue and the only way to get rid of him was to get rid of Harbs Quote

Lamar getting hurt and losing Joe D'Allesandris as line coach did Monken in. We didn't have a good backup QB at the time and the replacement O-line coach just didn't pan out. Quote
oldno82 Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago By the way, just read that a 'source' says Kliff is 'not high on Minter's list of potential OCs'. Take that for what it's worth. 1 Quote

GrubberRaven Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago If Kliff is hired then trade away Henry. The more I read, the more I like this hire. Sounds like he may bring in the DC from TN that was a former Ravens coach as well. Quote
tsylvester Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago That was my next question, would help call the defense or hire out, two minds are better than one Quote
papasmurfbell Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I don’t tend to like a hc that calls plays.  Most times they fail. Quote
tsylvester Posted just now Posted just now I agree, and it seems, at this point, so too does Minter if reports are true he is looking for a dc Quote
