tsylvester Posted Wednesday at 07:57 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:57 PM If this comes true, it is quite the mistake, a long list of them for Eric D. He can't hang on to the job in Arizona, nor on any other team, what makes you think he is worth bringing in now, via a trade, no matter what the cost! It is not as if this team is so close to championship level that Jacoby is gonna push you over the hump. Trade: The #Ravens are finalizing a trade for former #AZCardinals QB Jacoby Brissett, per me and @AdamSchefter, filling the void left by the injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler “Snoop” Huntley. The deal is expected to be completed this weekend. oldno82 Posted Wednesday at 08:16 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:16 PM Please tell me this is not going to happen!!! Brisset will only be worthless cannon fodder and will cost us a draft pick! He is definitely not worth it!!! Quote
GrubberRaven Posted Wednesday at 08:20 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:20 PM Reeks of desperation...wtf are we doing??? Quote
oldno82 Posted Wednesday at 08:42 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:42 PM Maybe we can get him for a 2030 7th round pick and a case of bandages. It also reeks of desperately trying to not play before an empty stadium. But, believe it or not, it looks like this is a done deal. Quote
oldno82 Posted Wednesday at 08:48 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:48 PM Just read in The Sun that Marlon Humphrey says Ravens fans are always freaking out and it affects the team in a bad way. He says there's too much negativity. I say, ship him out of town right now for a pick. Quote

Fans cheer and they boo, the boo comes with the cheers. If you cant take the heat maybe you are in the wrong line of work. Quote

tsylvester Posted Thursday at 04:59 PM Author Posted Thursday at 04:59 PM I get that they need more qbs on the team, cant go with just two. Also the fact that Nano is nursing a sprain ankle, so even if they are willing to just let him play, see what he has for the rest of the season, yard still need 3 qbs just in case and Slovis is even more of an unknown than Nano is. Nonetheless, Jacoby is a turnover machine who will wow you one quarter with remarkable passes and 2 tds, but then cost you the game. Surely there is another qb out there, a free agent as good as him. papasmurfbell Posted Thursday at 06:06 PM Posted Thursday at 06:06 PM I don’t want to give any picks or players now. Snag dudes of practice squads. Quote

oldno82 Posted Thursday at 11:25 PM Posted Thursday at 11:25 PM Will Levis and Garrappolo are both available---would they be a better stopgap than Brisset? They're both free agents currently on practice squads. Quote
tsylvester Posted Thursday at 11:53 PM Author Posted Thursday at 11:53 PM Not Jimmy G, but Ive been a fan of Levis since his college dsys. I am still a bit shocked he has not panned out. Big strong kid, runs well, throws the deep ball and back shoulder throw very well. But, like a long line of head scratchers that never pan out, it will remain a mystery. Yes, I would have taken him over the Brisket Quote

tsylvester Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Never should have made the trade until after the game last night against the Jags. Now at 4-5, with no real offense to speak of, again, what exactly is Jacoby going to do besides cost $2 mil against the cap and turn the ball over. Henry should be traded, little cap hit there, let Randall get some snaps see what he can do. Quote
oldno82 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Hah! They think Jacoby is going to be the savior of the season. What a joke. Quote

tsylvester Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago If you look at the list, some have turned out well and left for more money. Some are still developing, we hope. Others are just not living up, but most, most, are either out of the league or, so far down depth charts that they usually work only on special teams. Quote
tsylvester Posted 15 hours ago Author Posted 15 hours ago Ravens traded a fourth-round pick in 2027 and seventh-round pick in 2028 in exchange for Brissett and a fifth-round pick in 2027 Quote

Way over the top. EDC has lost his mind. Time for him to go. Quote
tsylvester Posted 10 hours ago Author Posted 10 hours ago Funny thing is, he gets high marks for his drafting, in early rounds, but low scores in later rounds. He even scores higher than Snead, Rams, and Roseman, Eagles, which shocks me. We all screamed the fall off from play the last few years was Harbs, but clearly, while it was time for him to go, it was also many of the players Quote
oldno82 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago To be fair, he appears to have solved the great mystery of drafting good wide receivers that eluded even Ozzie, but his offensive line picks are littered with guys that either haven't as yet or never will make it in the NFL. Furthermore, signing an aging and injured Hendrickson to a huge multi-year commitment is beginning to look like a failure. What has he got, 2 sacks for us over 9 games? We needed a lot more and it smells like he was just throwing up a Hail-Mary to offset his Aaron failure in the big swing for the Rams guy, which was another stupid deal as it would have cost us our future. Plus while the jury is out on Minter, that decision is beginning to worry me now too. Quote
oldno82 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago It is not outside the realm of possibility that the Ravens could win 5 of the remaining 7 games. That may sound good but it will be very deceiving as to the real health of the team and only delay the demo and reno that is needed. Quote
