Cant believe its happening, but we succeeded in turning SE Pa Purple, we can change Central Fla Purple too.. People want to know if I'll become a Bucs or Jags fan??? yagadabeshiddingme!!!!! cravnravn Posted March 16, 2012 Author Share Posted March 16, 2012 Oh yeah, my Dad lived in Oviedo...Its pretty nice location where we are going to buy, 30 minutes to Daytona, 35 to Orlando and 25 minutes to the beach, which we absolutely love..Where else in America can you drive on the beach, park, pop the trunk grab a chair and a nice cold one.... My friend's apartment is on Alafaya, right across from UCF. Her family lives in Lake Mary. I would honestly give up every dime to move down there. Absolutely gorgeous. Wis I would have known you were that close, would have sent you over to Cavallaris on Red Bug Rd for the best burgers in the world, but you had to grill them..We brought back 12.. Joes Crab Shack--Theres 3 in central florida, Orlando, sanford and kissimmee..Do not get the cajun style unless you are used to it, the Mrs had a swelling reaction to the spices. Pinchers Crab Shack--They are in SW Fla, we have a time share on Ft Myers beach and the Mrs and I absolutely love the place. And of course theres our Fav Place, I saw this place on the Food Channel in 2006 just before we were heading south for a visit, JB's Fish Camp in New Smyrna Beach, The show featured their Rock Shrimp (cross between a lobster & shrimp) Rock Shrimp are seasonal so you have to call ahead to see if they have them, they are located on A1A right on the Intercoastal Waterway..From Ovieda Area Id say it would tak 50 minutes to drive there, from my new to be area, we get there in 22 minutes. If we head to Daytona Beach for a day I will try and swing by JB's but the last couple of years we have been heading to clearwater when heading to the beach so we could maybe head further south and check out the Pinchers in Sarasota. cravnravn Posted March 29, 2012 Author Share Posted March 29, 2012 Definately visit Joe's R-Mad, for I'd say 10 years on Baltimore TV we would see commercials, Id look them up and see their only Md location was Rockville..Gads Rockville is like 2 hrs away...Finally, in Dec they opened a Joes 10 miles from us in Belair..Its still a hot commodity, if you want to eat at a reasonable time, you must be in line by 5pm or else you will be looking at a 1 1/2 hr wait..
