Dream Draft Scenario

After Ozzie mentioned about how they are in contact with teams about moving up and down in the draft in the week before the draft I started to take a look at what trading partners we might have.

 

How about this what if scenario?

 

The Dolphins don't take a QB (Tannehill) with their 1st round pick they may be a candidate to trade up from the 2nd round pick to get a QB like Weeden who might still be available at our pick.

 

If they don't take a QB at 8 and don't trade back to pick up their QB choice their fans will be in uproar. That might put the pressure on to make sure they trade up and get their guy and they might drop a 1st round pick from next year to Ozzie to do so. Hey, we managed to fleece the Broncos when they traded up to get their QB so we might be able to do it again.

 

The Dolphins then preceed to suck and we end up with a high pick in next year's draft which we can then use to really tackle needs like LT and heir apparents to Ray and Ed (if we don't solve 1 of those this year)

 

Anyone else have a dream draft scenario?
