RavenMad Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 He has talked about retirement before. He has been dealing with neck/shoulder injuries for a few years. He is in the final year of his contract. He is 34 and will be 35 in Week 1 of the 2013 season. He is finally playing in his 1st Superbowl. It's being hosted by New Orleans his hometown. What better way to go out than with a Superbowl victory in your home city with nothing left to prove after a HOF career. Quote
vmax Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I think if the Ravens win then he'll retire. Go out on top Quote
varaven45 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 It would behoove him and the team to do so. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I don't think it will matter to the team what Ed's decision will be. Quote
