cravnravn Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Ravens 'Highly' Interested In WR Amendola After trading Anquan Boldin, the Ravens are reportedly "highly interested" in free-agent wide receiver Danny Amendola. Amendola, 27, caught 63 passes for 666 yards last season, but was limited to just 11 games due to injuries. The 5-foot-11, 183-pound wideout has had health issues during his career. The question, according to The Sun, is whether Amendola is in the Ravens' price range. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Free-Agency-Rumor-Mill/da7e6d28-8129-4b6b-a443-b543b4d8d47b Quote
vmax Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 He's small and can't stay healthy. He's not a redzone/TD threat. His price is high and if they sign him, then they will be stuck with him for at least 3 years. Quote
vmax Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 We might as well go to sleep tonight. The Ravens never make deals early in free agency.Maybe....Elerbe and Reed in the next 24-48 hours. Reed could be 10 days. I hear the Browns want Ellerbe too. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I don't think they will be able to afford him. Quote

papasmurfbell Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 There is no proof that Austin is injury prone. Size has nothing to do with it. Ellerbee is injury prone. Quote
OutsideRzAcE Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Yea I don't get this....I'd rather see what we have with Doss Quan Streeter and Thompson Quote
papasmurfbell Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Of course. Gotta see i the cheap young talent can play. There are a lot of horses in the stable so they need 1 who can go. Quote
varaven45 Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Amendola ? He' s a poor man's version of Wes Welker. Pretty desperate times eh ?Damn, I hope Ozzie's got a few gigantic tricks up his sleeve ! Quote
