Didnt mean to quote twice my bad lol. Guess I have the same purple glasses, but it tough for rooks to have success without a huge supporting cast.

Dalton does have a pretty good supporting cast. WR A.J. Green, RB Cedric Benson, TE Jermaine Gresham, WR Jerome Simpson, RB Brian Leonard, RB Bernard Scott, an OL that has shown excellent protection, not to mention a top five defense to keep feeding them the ball.

Those stats are against playing only 2 teams with a winning record and that cannot be ignored. Sure they'll be good against weak competition.

The fact of the matter is tht against that competition, the Bengals have a 21st ranked passing offense and 22nd ranked rushing.

The defensive numbers are a smoke screen...they have faced only 1 offense ranked in the top 20.

The line has protected Dalton well and his quick release certainly helps.
“Here’s a reality of this league,” John started, “you never pick up where you left off the season before. We’re never back to a minute left in the AFC championship game ready to take it to the Super Bowl. We’re not there until we earn our way back there again. Every team starts over, and the foundation for us starts right now. We build the whole thing from scratch."

Back the wagon up max. The Bengals played a great game against the 'Niners who are a VERY good team. Only lost by five early in the season. I will admit we should have never lost against the Broncos, but games like that happen to every team each season.

17-17 in the 3rd quarter. We're playing a top team in the entire NFL. The Bengals are for real.

We have played them as tough as your Ravens did.

66 yds and 4.51 to do it for OT. All 3 TO's left. Time to make a statement.

I think we proved today we are not pretenders in this division. Cincinnati played well against Pittsburgh.

The Bengals learned today, and that's a good thing for a very young team.

Cincy will win one of the 2 games. I think that would put them in 1st place also if it is next week.

I really think you will. Again you are watching right now how they deal with the 4-3.

I don't get the 4-3 statement. The Steelers play a 3-4.

I know we'll be good in the long run, but a week on a loss sucks ballz.
See, we won here today, but this thing isn't even close to over. You and me, AJ, we don't get to stop just yet.
We gotta move on to the next game, and get another win, the playoffs are just with in reach.

He's referring to the Ravens offense against a 4-3 defense. See Seattle game. We play like shit.

Oh. Yeah. Your Ravens did play like shit..

The Bengals did well against the Seahawks. The Ravens did well against the Steelers.

Hard division to figure out isn't it?
